Important decision for Wisconsin voters! 🚨
Voters must decide Question 3, a constitutional amendment that would prohibit state and local governments from discriminating against or giving preferential treatment to anyone based on race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin.
While most of the debate has focused on public jobs and contracting, voters should also consider what it could mean for medical school admissions.
👉 Do No Harm’s analysis of 2024 admissions data found that Black applicants to UW’s medical school had nearly 10 times the odds of admission compared with white or Asian applicants with the same MCAT score and GPA.

Your kids will hear about gender ideology.
The question is: what will they hear from you?

Detransitioners deserve to be heard. 📣
Many were put on puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or even surgery as children or teenagers. When they came to regret it, the same medical system that transitioned them had little to offer.
Chloe Cole started puberty blockers and testosterone at 13 and had a double mastectomy at 15. By 16, she knew it was a mistake. When she tried to reverse course, she says her doctors were “completely unhelpful.”
She’s not alone.
📊 In a study of 100 detransitioners, 55% said they didn’t receive an adequate evaluation before transitioning. 65% said their clinicians never explored whether trauma or a mental health condition was behind their desire to transition.
📉 Only 24 ever told their clinicians they had detransitioned, so the true number is likely undercounted.
That’s why the voices of detransitioners matter.
👉 It matters when they say they were lied to as children.
👉 It matters when they say the “trans movement” capitalized on their depression, anxiety, and intense adolescent feelings, exploiting them rather than treating them.
👉 It matters when they say the relief they were promised never came.
Detransitioners have a lot to teach us about how gender-dysphoric children are being treated. We ought to listen.
Midterms are drawing closer and Colorado voters have two important propositions to vote on. 👉
📣 Prop 134 would base participation in K-12 and college sports on biological sex, with every team designated male, female, or coed.
📣 Prop 135 would prohibit surgery on minors intended to alter their biological sex characteristics.

This is a medical scandal. Children and vulnerable young adults have been harmed by this ideology, and a doctor who raised safeguarding concerns lost her job and her mental health.
We need a public enquiry into genderism abuses in healthcare.

Great reminder.
Day 125 of why shouldn't every day be detrans awareness day?! Taking skin from a woman's thigh to create a non-functional tube of skin that is supposed to resemble male genitalia is not healthcare. #detransawarenessday #detransawarenessyear

Arizona voters, know before you vote! ‼️
Two important propositions could shape school sports and DEI policy across the state.
👉 Prop 318 would require every school team to be designated male, female, or coed based on biological sex, and would keep restrooms and locker rooms sex-specific.
👉 Prop 142 would amend the state constitution to bar public institutions from requiring people to support race-based preferential treatment, including DEI statements in hiring and admissions.

"Democratic candidates are raking in donations this election season for all kinds of reasons, but one source of funding is deeply concerning. 🚩
The people who staff America’s leading medical societies are overwhelmingly backing Democratic politicians, party committees, and political action committees.
Regardless of which party prevails on Election Day, Americans should be very worried about the politicization of health care in this country... "

Washington voters will decide two citizen initiatives on Nov. 3 that could change how public schools handle girls’ sports and parental notification. 🗳️
👉 Initiative 638 would prohibit biological males from competing in girls’ school sports, requiring verification of a student’s sex by their healthcare provider.

"A prestigious medical journal published an opinion piece that claimed giving parents’ the right to make their child’s healthcare decisions is a threat to physicians providing care.
The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) — arguably one of the most affluent publications in the world — published an opinion article on Oct. 12, written by two health service academics who argued that parents making healthcare decisions for their children — such as preventing them from getting sex-change surgery — threatens a child’s access to care and a physician’s ability to provide it...
