I had the opportunity to support my amazing colleague, Dr. Robinson, our Mental Health Coordinator, as she delivered a powerful session on teen mental health. Parents walked away with practical look-fors & strategies to better support their children, and I did too! 💙
Our @DCSD_Secondary1 team meeting started in the most amazing way…by celebrating each other! Each team member was presented with a “You Matter” Award recognizing the unique light, strengths, and impact they bring to our team. Forward Together with Purpose. Precision. Progress.

• 27 Georgia Math Leader Schools
• +2,695 more students proficient in math since 2023
• Nearly 5,000 fewer students below grade level in math
• Algebra proficiency up 16 percentage points

Day 3 didn’t disappoint! I’m so grateful for the smiling faces that I encountered today as I met and engaged with coaches, principals, assistant principals, and math teachers at Dunwoody HS, Chamblee HS, Cross Keys HS, & Redan HS! Math is on the move in #DCSD
Day ✌🏾We are in full swing. PLC was popping at Cedar Grove HS, learning plans were in full effect at McNair HS, and students were handling business like pros at DeKalb Alternative Program!
Whew! What a full 1st day! Welcome back, DCSD. I throughly enjoyed spending time with Redan HS, Southwest DeKalb HS, Columbia HS, & DSA📚📓🥳

The “Investigating Learning Plans to Amplify Instruction” PL was a great way to close out my summer sessions. I’m grateful for the participants who dug into learning plans and turned them into practical elements of daily instruction. That’s a wrap 🎉👏🏾✨! #MathEd
