the day Mr Soleye’s wife dìed in a car accident, he received a message from her phone saying, “My husband, whatever happens, don’t allow my family to bury me in their village,” but when he called back, the phone was switched off. Three days after her burial, a strange woman arrived at his house claiming that his wife had visited her in a dream and revealed where her real identity was hidden. my uncle once narrated a mysterious encounter he had in Osogbo in 1997. A man offered to show him a shortcut, but halfway down the road, the man suddenly asked why he was walking alone when he had already seen him arrive with three people. My uncle laughed and explained that he had travelled alone, until the man pointed behind him and whispered, “Those people following you are not ordinary,” and when my uncle turned around, he saw three people standing across the road, one of whom had his exact face.
