So grateful for our private @DocuSage beta test. We had no idea what would happen… and our small, invitation beta of just 50 users utilized DocuSage to upload nearly 20 million words of documents and asked approximately 1,000 questions. We’re incredibly excited for the future.

Having a ton of fun advising with @DocuSage and supporting @JaredLafitte as he jumps into #lawtwitter.
I'm really excited about this project and think more people need to get in early...this could be bigger than just law.
🧙♂️DocuSage currently serves primarily attorneys who need to quickly analyze large amounts of documents -- but need to do it safely and securely, not risking hosting it permanently. It's sort of "snapchat for private documents."
🗨️"We have to rethink billing," one attorney said. "It's an essential tool for my practice," another confirmed.
🧠Think for example 340 pages of information about a slip and fall incident, full of doctors notes and employment records that once took 3 hours to create a timeline now takes 2 minutes or less.
👉Or summarizing depositions instantly, comparing contracts to statutes or code, or contrasting one attorneys filings against opposing counsel.
⚖️Soon the tool will be able to tap into millions of both federal and state case law and allow attorneys to search and then compare case law to internal documents.
❔You can also utilize the tool as a education platform, learning and asking any question you want around law.
Quick updates:
- Almost 50 people participated on the beta, and many more helped test the tool on one-off situations.
- Close to 100 phone calls and text messages sent to improve the tool (much more to do on the UI/UX to come)
- Over 15 million words were processed
- The tool goes live at $150/mo. next month for users, with unlimited questions and uploads using the most advanced and secure AI on the planet

At DocuSage, our privacy policy is very simple: we don’t do anything with your data because we can’t.
Our programming is coded in such a way that each session is a static, internal session of data processing, with no storage capabilities whatsoever.
You can even check our public source code if you want to see for yourself. We don’t do anything with your uploaded files or conversations because we simply have no ability to.
Your uploads, your conversations, your translations… everything you upload and process is 100% private, visible only to you, and is permanently gone when you decide you’re done working.
They end when your session ends.
We call this the “digital Etch-a-Sketch” principle: when you’re in a session with the application, anything you upload, type, or generate only exists on your screen.
When you click “x” and exit the application, everything is gone.
Permanently. As if it never existed. Just like an Etch-a-Sketch.
In the future, we will likely develop the ability for ultra-secure, small-scale data storage in a private cloud for your personal account, just so you can keep desired files and notes in one place.
But even then, our commitment and functioning principle will be the same: we will have no ability to access these contents as they will be heavily encrypted end to end and completely inaccessible outside of your own two-factor authentication.
Unlike larger players who keep everything you upload and utilize it, we have no need to do anything with your data.
Quite frankly, analyzing millions and millions of words of information sounds kind of boring to us, which is exactly why we created this thing in the first place.
If we need to do data-intensive things like more model training in the future, we have plenty of artificial data we can use to do that.
Unlike the big guys, we’re not desperate to get ahold of your data to satisfy corporate overlords.
Your data is your data, and we have no business nor interest in seeing it.
Happy analyzing!

In the world of AI SaaS, you don’t just move fast. You have to move *lightning* fast. For @DocuSage, we’re trying, because we have to. 3 weeks ago, MVP was done. Today, 11 million words uploaded, hundreds of queries, provisional patent. And we are just going to get faster.
