To all those groups who were out in the thunder and lightening last night, I hope you managed some sleep ready for today @DofENorth

Fantastic day @hopwoodhall @SportandUPS watching the UPS Learners on parade. VIP and 49 Bronze @DofE Awards presented. The weather didn’t dampen any spirits and great support from @gmpolice. Great organisation from all staff involved @DofENorth

Take a look at the GM Ringway walks. This is a network of 300km across GM with accessible, child friendly routes, some near public transport etc. great to use more localised expedition areas with some cracking routes near to you @GmRingway @DofENorth
It's worth investigating the GM Ringway walk.
They are hosting various activities and are trying to get people out and using the route.
