Been digging into @squeekchain lately, and I genuinely think people are sleeping on how far this could go. An entire chain built around a real hamster running on wheel is ridiculous on its face—but this is crypto. Squeek NFTs are already being minted on testnet, @pillheadddd has been talking about multiple teams building behind the scenes, and projects like Exsqueektion are starting to bring hamster-powered gaming into the mix. One thing I like is how supportive Pill has been of builders joining the ecosystem—actively engaging with projects, giving them visibility, and encouraging people to experiment. What really gets me is the upside if it catches. Prediction markets on how much Squeektoshi runs, gambling apps, DeFi protocols, trading platforms, NFT collections, and whatever unhinged ideas nobody has thought of yet. A real hamster producing blocks is also absurdly easy to meme, so the content surface area is basically endless. There’s a real chance this turns into its own little onchain economy where builders just take the hamster meme and run wild with it. Still early and plenty left to prove, but I’m curious how deep this rabbit hole goes. The thesis is the hamster 🐹

Gas fees have always been one of those small but annoying barriers that get in the way of a smoother onchain experience. @Nogasonsui is working on making that experience simpler, and I’m curious to see how the project develops. Rather than waiting until launch day to build hype, they're pushing people to actually explore the project, understand it, and create their own content around it.
