The arm controls are bound to the L and R thumbsticks on a gamepad respectively - holding te left shoulder button toggles into the arm movement mode and deactivates the thumbsticks' usual function of running around and what not. Vtubing is fun.

Then the stick input is mapped to a blendtree for the up, down, left, right positions in the animation controller. I'm hoping to be able to swap in additional gestures on the fly in the next update or maybe link them to moods / expressions.
