Gavin Newsom says “the system’s broken” and we need to “completely reimagine” it. His answer? Democratic socialism. That’s not bold change. It’s the same old promise of free stuff, and the price is always your liberty.
A government big enough to give you everything is big enough to control everything. America isn’t broken. Washington is. The fix is following the Constitution.

Families are already dealing with high prices. The last thing they need is more government spending, which is exactly what socialist-backed candidates want. I believe that history shows where that road leads: higher taxes, less opportunity, and economic decline.
Real reform comes from free markets, limited government, and individual liberty.

Just a reminder that when the state’s response to criminal behavior is deemed inadequate by the community, the community will take justice into its own hands. If the city thought a decarceral approach is what this community wants, the city was very wrong.

Because of the spark that, StarTrek:TOS, lit in me for the fascination of spaceflight and technology, I went on to have a tiny part in developing new technology for the Space Shuttle LPS (Launch Processing System), specifically the CCMS hardware, as a young 19yr old working for NASA/Dept of Defense, after DoD recruited me out of high school to work as an engineering development technician.
I will forever be grateful for all of you in the Star Trek world for the career path I set out on as a young child back in the 1960's...after flying through space with you!

Republicans bragging about no tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security must also accept responsibility for higher inflation, as that was the trade-off. Because government spending actually rose as those tax cuts were enacted, the lost revenue means the tax cuts are paid for through higher inflation. So workers get to keep more of the money they earn, but its purchasing power is reduced by the higher prices that are a direct consequence of the tax cuts.

Why are female Cornell students saying that they feel unsafe on campus? Because they are surrounded by adults who are just as unhinged as they are.

Top 3 Worst Far Left European Politicians of the 20th century:
Europe produced the twentieth century's worst gallery of state worshippers, men who dressed collectivism in national costume and devastated entire nations. Three stand above the rest in their destruction of life, property, and economic order.
3. Benito Mussolini built Italian Fascism on corporatism: state-directed industry where private ownership existed only on paper, since the government dictated prices, wages, and production quotas. He nationalized major banks in 1933 and handed Italy's economy to bureaucrats who had never produced anything. GDP figures looked respectable until the war exposed every structural rot underneath.
2. Joseph Stalin murdered by deliberate famine. The 1932-33 Holodomor killed 3.9 million Ukrainians after the state confiscated grain to finance rapid industrialization. Gosplan's central planners misallocated capital on a scale no private actor could sustain for more than a quarter before bankruptcy corrected them. The Soviet state never faced that correction, so the carnage compounded for seven decades.
1. Adolf Hitler belongs at the top. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (the clue is in the name) seized the entire German economy through the Four Year Plan of 1936. Hermann Goering ran industrial allocation like a general runs logistics, complete with the same catastrophic waste. Hitler imposed price controls, conscripted labor, and financed rearmament through Mefo bills, a shell-company debt scheme that disguised monetization and guaranteed inflation. Six million Jews were murdered in a state-directed genocide, alongside millions of others. The Holocaust was organized, funded, and staffed by the German state with salaried civil servants. State power taken to its logical conclusion produces exactly that.

The main problem for Democrats when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration is that their position can basically be distilled down to: “If the illegal immigrant in question has a sad enough story, we shouldn’t enforce the laws on the books.” Americans fundamentally reject the idea that certain people can or should be deemed immune from the statutory byproducts of our representative democracy.
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him.
Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

Communists: Capitalism is bad because it creates monopolies that enrich the wealthy and exploit workers.
Also communists: Let's impose wage mandates that smaller businesses can't afford, drive them out of business, eliminate competition, and hand their customers to the giant corporations we supposedly despise.
Nothing says fighting corporate monopolies quite like using government coercion to help create them.

Actions speak louder than words.
Hitler opposed Marxism, not state control of the economy. He abolished independent unions, suppressed economic freedom, subordinated private property to state dictates, and imposed central planning in pursuit of nationalist goals.
That he wanted to exterminate rival socialists doesn't make him a capitalist any more than Stalin's persecution of Trotskyists made Stalin an advocate of free enterprise.
Nazism and Marxism were competing forms of collectivist authoritarianism, not opposites on the fundamental question of individual liberty.
The relevant distinction isn't which collectivists hated which other collectivists. It's whether individuals are free or subordinate to the state.
Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Volume I, Chapter IV (“Munich”):
“The problem of how the future of the German nation can be secured is the problem of how Marxism can be exterminated.”
Let’s be clear: Elon Musk absolutely knows the history. He knows Hitler’s stated goal was to destroy Marxism. Pointing to “Socialist” in the party’s name to call Hitler far-left isn’t a mistake. It’s a calculated lie designed to gaslight gullible people who believe every word he says.
