One of the weirdest features of English (to me anyway) is that big things like institutions, countries, companies can take the third person in the singular or plural form and it’s kinda fine either way.
I really do feel like Labour want an election soon, I can’t understand otherwise why they’d suddenly start just banging on about the EU and saying they want change all with no real mandate for it. I really think it’s just pre-tense for it.
