the beauty of capitalism is that instead of humanity's most talented leaders getting rich and famous for leading armies to kill a lot of people, they get rich and famous for leading companies to get rockets into space and save humanity from eventual extinction on earth

People in Richmond have felt left out of the protest movements in recent years. They keep dipping their toes in, then generally go back to being intelligent people. share.google/7prFgO5JJCHKa5O…

Of course they say this. Who would admit to mishandling sensitive data? This narrative fits the way NPR has gone lately. I miss the NPR my kids grew up with. share.google/b4TTu3FAjWmxC3t…

All or nearly all of the AI vendors have been up front from the beginning g that AI can make mistakes and have hallucinations. None that I know of have alleged otherwise. This is similar to people claiming to not know cigarettes were bad for you, even when commonly called cancer sticks for a very long time. share.google/QgrtugF1cT70meM…

A few common sense comments: You are what you are, not what you think you are. Medical professionals should consider long term health & safety, not only immediate concerns. Children are not considered capable of making long-term decisions, & they go thru phases. Lastly, would the students athletes prefer a blood test? That should resolve the actual gender question without anyone looking for visual evidence. share.google/BxkxisbukdnucTu…

That's a brilliant, low-cost marketing move. Of course, how it's used will be a different story. Feared AI job loss hasn't shown up in overall employment numbers much, meaning it's typically not permanent job loss. share.google/xe7hMPj1uggIlMl…
