🚨 Update: Deadly Cargo Plane Crash at Miami International Airport
At least five people have died and five others were injured after an Amazon Prime Air cargo aircraft overran the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday afternoon, striking multiple vehicles and bursting into flames.
The Boeing 767-300, operated by 21 Air as Amazon Prime Air Flight 7598, had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when the accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. local time.
More than 60 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded as crews battled the intense fire and rescued people from the aircraft and surrounding vehicles. Three of the injured are reportedly in critical condition.
The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash. The incident also caused major disruptions at Miami International Airport, with flights delayed, canceled and diverted.
Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, the injured, first responders, and everyone affected by this devastating tragedy. 🕊️

Most airlines (but not Jet2 nor Ryanair) overbook: selling more tickets than there are seats available. Usually they get away with it.
When too many passengers turn up, staff should offer inducements for volunteers prepared to travel later rather than choosing someone to offload.

🚨 SUMMARY: Neighbours describe the white British man arrested in Rotherham on suspicion of murdering Ann Widdecombe
- A learning difficulties "loner" who didn't seem to work and rarely left his house
- He went "loopy" and "more introverted" once his father died before Christmas, who he had moved in with around a year ago
- "He was someone you'd have a conversation with but that changed after his dad died. He became very quiet. He kept himself to himself and wouldn't really speak to anyone"
- His red Vauxhall Corsa "barely moved" from the driveway to the point weeds were growing on it
- He is one of three brothers - one is believed to live in Devon while his other brother and mother live locally
- A neighbour saw him place "some kind of wooden stick" in the passenger side of his car before leaving at 7am on the morning Widdecombe died
- He is believed to have then driven 270 miles to Devon before Widdecombe was attacked in her home at around 12:30pm
