Chainsaws began as a surgical tool in the 1780s. Scottish doctors John Aitken and James Jeffray created a small hand-cranked chain saw to cut the pubic bone during obstructed childbirth (symphysiotomy), when C-sections nearly always killed the mother. It was faster and more precise than knives. The modern wood-cutting version arrived over a century later.

so trading stocks is easy, all you have to do is buy and hold except every 3 months there's a coin flip on whether they will absolutely nuke your position to oblivion but also if you try to derisk before it they instead gap up the stock and never let you get back in again as it grinds up to infinity
