NEW: Illinois' Bret Bielema after beating Nebraska:
"But to be in this job, where we’re at right now, 6-3, we beat another 5-3 team. If we were in the SEC, we’d probably be a top-15 team."

D2 schools like Ferris State, West Alabama, and Minnesota State have sent multiple guys to the NFL and 10-year careers.
Stop chasing a division. Chase a school where you'll actually play.

Ohio State is being punished for playing a difficult schedule, while Notre Dame is being punished for not playing a difficult enough schedule. These teams are ranked right next to each other at 11 and 12. The CFP committee's logic is directly contradictory.

Alabama and Tennessee have the same record, and Tennessee whipped Alabama 26-10 just weeks ago. Yet Alabama is 5th and Tennessee is 13th. I think the committee is already trying to protect a potential 9-3 Alabama team. It's indefensible.

As predictable as me having one more slice of pizza. The sport is in major trouble for a lot of reasons - loss of connection between fans and athletes, level of play, 55 minutes of commercials per game, death of rivalries - Shouldn’t have taken ratings finally falling to see it.

Expanding to 24 teams does not solve the problem of a wildly inconsistent selection committee.

Wake Forest at #16 is completely irresponsible from the CFB playoff committee.
• 7-1 Record
• #11 Resume, #43 SOS (FPI)
• Only loss is to #1 Miami
• Winning their games by average of 26.1
• They’ve won their last 4 games by a combined 156 points
If this team had a more prestigious logo on their helmet, they’d be Top 10… NO QUESTION.

This committee spent 2 days in a hotel ballroom with every stat known to man, every ounce of game film at their fingertips and still came out with a ranking that made the AP voters look like geniuses.
Thankfully they took their hats off tho.

Well, the message is clear: The committee loves the SEC and hates everyone else.

Well all the SEC propaganda that was ALL WE HEARD ABOUT ALL OFF SEASON worked. Money well spent Commissioner Sankey 👏👏

Wow the levels of disrespect for Wake Forest are absolutely disgusting. Ranked down #16 is a complete joke

As we open up with Duke tonight, Team 125 will honor the memory of Army Basketball great Chris Spatola. His family, friends, and teammates are in our thoughts and prayers.
