Today was a beautiful first day of the school year. We honored a beautiful person’s life and legacy. We celebrated our boss’ last convocation. Then, Peekskill Middle School started its new journey. I’m so grateful for such a great day. It’s a new season for all of us. Let’s get after it. 💙💜❤️

So excited that our students voted for the student ex-officio board members. They will bring student voice to our @PeekskillCSD meetings. Congratulations #Peekskillpride #mauriciosmoments

So happy to have K-9 Mando and his trainer in our schools to support our children. Animals bring joy, comfort, healing and teach our children to be kind.
Last night, Family Engagement Liaison Dr. Holloman, hosted dads at a very special Father's Day session. More opportunities to come to engage our dads. This week @PeekskillCSD board meeting hosted Latino parents. They presented in Spanish and we used headphones for translation.
It is with profound sadness that we learned of the tragic loss of one of our out of district students in a fire last evening. On behalf of the entire Peekskill City School District, I extend our deepest condolences to the student's family and loved ones.
