Rockstar games have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever here. Most games are overpriced.
So am I the only person who kinda thinks the map looks small?
A new version of the GTA 6 mapping project has been released.
The most noticeable change is that the panhandle has (finally) been removed.
There has also been reworks to The Keys, Port Gellhorn and a plethora of other areas around the map.
Remember that a lot of this is still extremely speculative and it will continue to change up until launch. Rockstar has kept a lot of the map under wraps, especially towards the north, which makes outlining specific borders and stuff incredibly difficult. Also note that it’s only based on things that we’ve seen or have evidence of existing, so if it appears “empty” then that’s why.
Exciting nonetheless!

GTA SA Fact #11: OG Loc’s original name was MC Strap, the mini map radar icon still exists in the game files and there’s even an unused artwork showing him dropping the soap in prison.
WTF were Rockstar planning with that concept…😅
This is entirely FALSE information. I made shorts for over a year and a large part of that audience was from India, I can confidently say 1M views would barely pay $30 (yes, seriously) so AT BEST this channel is making $90,000 a year even though they've had 2.5 billion views...
GTA SA Fact #10: This is BOGMAN — arguably the most significant minor character in the game. He appears in The Introduction discussing the drive-by of Beverly Johnson, later in Madd Dogg’s Rhymes exiting the toilets, and again in Ice Cold Killa. CJ doesnt interact with him once!
GTA SA Fact: Originally Madd Dogg’s Rhymes was meant to feature an alarm that alerted the cops (seen in the strategyu guide) — and it would’ve introduced the skateboard, a cut vehicle. Sadly it never made the final game, and we ride the mountain bike back instead.
GTA SA Fact #9: A BETA ped (circled) briefly appears in House Party. He has lower detail, bolder white brims on his hat and pants, and one sleeve rolled up. He’s visible for only seconds, and only from the waist up. A similar model without the rolled trouser does appear in-game.
GTA SA Fact #6: According to the BradyGames Strategy Guide, the rare "FBI Truck" was originally designed with a mounted turret. It was meant to appear in a cut mission “The Truth Is Out There,” where the FBI would attempt to kill The Truth - The FBI Truck remains in the files.
RIP. He was always super nice to me in person whenever we met backstage or in the after shows for The Cure. Always the nicest people man.
GTA SA Fact #5: Officer Eddie Pulaski originally looked very different. On the left is his final in-game model.
On the right is his beta “square-face” character model.
And on the far right is unreleased artwork showing that same beta design. A change im glad Rockstar made.
GTA SA Fact #4: Did you know LAPDM1 (the bike cop) has 3 unused skins. There are even unique bike cops for San Fierro (SFPDM1) and Las Venturas (LVPDM1) — but only ONE bike cop is used across all three cities. Huge shame these were cut.
GTA SA Funny Fact: during “Da Nang Thang”, there’s an extremely rare glitch where an NPC “ghost” plane crashes into the ship’s tower. When it happens, it instantly kills the enemies on board — completely skipping the katana fight.
Speedrunners would kill for this kind of luck.
GTA SA Fact #3: An unused Country Police Deputy is hidden in the game files. The model suggests Rockstar planned rural law enforcement separate from city cops, likely spawning across countryside areas like Red County and Flint County — but it was never fully implemented.
