This last minute House objection caught my attention.
The Women's Sports Foundation and National Women's Law Center object to the Title IX release thrown into the settlement after the preliminary approval hearing. They also object to the way women are (or at not) represented.

It feels incredibly impulsive and reckless to start acting to this degree on a settlement that hasn't yet even had a preliminary approval hearing, but maybe that's just me.
I wrote about this in the @On3NIL Newsletter earlier this week... The House settlement is already impacting college athletics... There are now nearly 30 Power Four 2025 women's soccer commits who have been dropped by their schools because of the impending roster cap/rev share.

The Third Circuit's opinion in Johnson v. NCAA is indeed here! Affirmed and remanded, which is a big win for the plaintiff-athletes. There is a concurrence, but it appears to be on a procedural issue.
