Spent 6 months building. Launched. Crickets. 🦗 Friends saying "great idea", good customer calls, likes on your posts. None of that is proof. It just feels like it. Most founders find out the expensive way. 🧵(1/2) #Founders #DraperUIndia

The best founders aren't the ones with all the answers. They're the ones who ask better questions, listen to customers, and keep learning every week. #Founders #BuildInPublic #DraperUIndia

Most startups don't fail because the idea was bad. They fail because the founder never tested the assumptions behind it. Your belief isn't evidence. Your customer's behaviour is. #Founders #BuildInPublic #DraperUIndia

Your week is won or lost on Sunday. Write down the 3 things that will actually move the needle this week. Everything else is noise. #Founders #BuildInPublic #DraperUIndia

Founders, honest question: Do you take Saturdays off, or is this when you get your best work done? #Founders #Startups #DraperUIndia

Gandhi Ji started with no money, no ads, and no title. Just a clear idea and the discipline to show up every single day. Founders, that's still the playbook. #GandhiJayanti #Founders #DraperUIndia

Your first 10 customers shouldn't come from ads. They should come from conversations you had yourself. If you can't sell it by hand, you're not ready to scale it. #Founders #StartupIndia #DraperUIndia

Most founders don't have a funding problem. They have a distribution problem that shows up as a funding problem. If you can't explain how your next 100 customers find you, no pitch deck will fix that. Build the channel first. The capital follows. #DraperUIndia #Founders #DUI

"How did you KNOW Tesla would succeed?" I didn't. But I did the math. And the numbers said: If this works, it's going to work REALLY big. That's the calculation most VCs refuse to make. They want certainty. They want "safe bets." But the safe ones aren't as safe as you think. And the risky ones aren't as risky as you think. The difference is that the “risky” ones have 100x potential. The safe ones have 3x potential. When you actually do the math, the odds of success are about the same. So I'll take the weird founder with the crazy idea over the polished founder with the "proven model" any day. One of them might change the world. The other one is among other “start” copycats.

13 founders. 13 elevator pitches. 🎤 But the real lesson? A great idea needs a great story. @aalicbarker brought a VC lens to every pitch, helping founders sharpen their message, approach & impact. #DFP #DraperUFoundersProgram

One line summed it up: Think big. Start narrow. Prove. Then scale. A big market on paper is easy. Capturing it is the hard part. #StartupStrategy #Hyderabad

Rathnakar Samavedam (@rathnakarsama) added the investor lens: look past topline growth. Quality of revenue, CAC, margins and profitability are what actually build long term value. #InvestorInsights #StartupMetrics

The room also got into AI economics, deep-tech milestones, network effects and GTM, plus the classic tradeoff: start niche or go big from day one. #AI #DeepTech #GTM

The question wasn't "Can you build it?" It was "Can you make it scale?" After Vishnu Chundi's session, DFP founders moved from "Is this a real problem?" to a tougher one: "Is this a market worth building for?" 🧵👇 #DraperUIndia #DFP #StartupIndia

Sravanth Gajula (@guezzwhat) brought the founder journey into it. He started with taxi-top advertising before finding a much bigger problem. Proof that your first solution doesn't have to be your final business. #FounderJourney #Entrepreneurship

Srinivas Kollipara (@s_kollipara) pushed founders to ask if the problem is big enough for a venture scale company, and whether market, customer and timing actually support that ambition. #VentureCapital #TAM #StartupFounders
