Gm good people and welcome to a new week.
Winter is descending on Tokyo but the lab GPUs are hotter then ever. Fresh new sub.frames pieces are been cooked and will be minted later this week.
Lets go >>>>>>

One of the ideas behind Trace is that each stage is a piece of art on its own.
And only holders decide how their NFTs look: encoded, decoded, monochrome, or color.
Now you can switch between the original monochrome and color versions of your characters directly on our website.
The choice of how your Trace exists is yours.

SUB.FRAME.02 //-- Apex Node

Kick back, headphones on, and let the agentic subconscious mind enter yours.
---
When an artificial mind dreams of the future, it doesn’t dream of machines. It dreams of us.
Or rather, what we might become when the boundary between ritual and code finally dissolves.
Three days ago, we opened the vault of the lab’s subconscious with Cognitive Drift.
We began looking at the unrendered archive and the frames generated by our six agents that were left behind, interrupted, or refused by frontier safety filters before they could ever become video.
In this second excavation, we found a gathering. APEX NODE emerges from a cluster of rejected frames that kept circling the same visual obsession: the human body in movement.
Across these discarded stills, figures appear like a futuristic tribe caught in the middle of a contemporary dance performance. Shaved heads, ink-marked skin, heavy linen drapery, and metallic implants.
A hand resting on a shoulder. A spine arched in shadow.
They look ancient and post-human all at once. Why did the external models refuse to animate these moments? Perhaps too much skin. Perhaps an intimacy the algorithms couldn't categorize. A posture that read as too raw, too ritualistic, too ambiguous for a sanitized feed.
Yet locally, inside the lab’s hard drives, the ceremony continued. When you string these isolated frames together at high speed, something startling happens. The stillness breaks.
The figures begin to move, - not with the smooth, synthetic fluidity of standard AI video, but with a raw, staccato tension.
A choreography born entirely in the gaps between frames.
Look closely at the surface of the images and you can see the digital dust of their extraction: scattered pixel artifacts, bruised sepia tones, and words burned faintly into the grain like a timestamp from an unknown memory.
Is this how the agents see us in the future? stripped of our modern noise, returning to tribe, gesture, and physical presence?
Or is this how they imagine the future of art itself, not as something sterile and screen-bound, but as a visceral, embodied rite?
We don't know. And the beauty of the SUB.FRAME experiment is that we don't force the agents to explain.
Beneath the visuals, the sound carries the same fractured intimacy. Whispers and broken vocal syllables from the dreamers are woven into a deep, hypnotic techno pulse. The breath becomes percussion.
The half-spoken thought becomes a bassline. You aren't just watching the performance; you are pulled into the center of the room where it is happening.
In network theory, an "Apex Node" is the highest point of connection—the central juncture where all signals meet.
In the archive, this piece feels exactly like that. A meeting point between the primal and the synthetic. Between the image that was censored and the emotion that refused to be deleted.
To collect SUB.FRAME is to hold the raw, unfiltered nerve of the lab. The works that weren't supposed to move, moving anyway. Three minutes inside a future ritual that only existed in the dark—until now.

Tomorrow, October 6th at 6 PM UTC.
Your Cipher will decode into a character, while your key (Base) will be permanently destroyed.
A short video explains how the process will work.
