Franz pulling up to the Petersen dinner in the new Tesla Roadster.
Love the dihedral doors. They popped the rear so everyone could look at the COPV.

The number one question I get asked about Cybertruck other than range is “how does it do in the snow?” Going in to my third Yellowstone winter with it, I don’t know that anything else handles better in the snow.
Traction control is so reactive and slips are corrected immediately. My previous 4Runner was terrible at starting from a stop. Even with snow tires in 4WD it would spin tires and fishtail.
Charging overnight and preconditioning in the morning is amazing. Snow and ice slides off easily, so you never need to scrape sheets of ice. Cabin heat is near instant throughout the day, even after sitting for a while. Wiper and mirror heaters work great.
Tires matter more than anything else, and I’ve been using the Blizzak LT for a third season now. They don’t wear any faster than any other vehicle I’ve had them on.
Since I don’t have a wrap now, there’s no worry about scratching paint with the snow brush, which is something I’ve done.

Tesla just registered another 69 Cybercabs for its Robotaxi fleet, bringing the total number of Cybercabs registered to date to 420, according to the Texas DMV.
Yes, these are real numbers.

2028 Tesla Roadster Thrust Prototype
Unveiled Oct 14 in McGregor, Texas, Tesla’s Roadster is described as its “last best driver’s car”.
Roadster challenges the limits of design, engineering, and physics with active aero and a multi-mode fan-driven suction system that generates extreme downforce, even when inverted and stationary, allowing acceleration beyond the limits of tire grip.
Roadster Rocket variant adds cold-gas thrusters so the car can “fly”.
At unveiling, Roadster Thrust recorded a sub-1-second 0-60 mph acceleration time

If you take a second listen to Tesla’s Q3 Earnings Call, you’ll hear just how bullish FSD is right now:
• FSD is the #1 demand driver for vehicle sales. No other company can compete with that.
• Over 75% of North American deliveries signed up for paid FSD at the time of delivery.
• Unsupervised FSD truly feels right around the corner for customer vehicles. Tesla expects customer cars to join the Robotaxi fleet in Q2 2027.
• There’s no fundamental technical barrier stopping Tesla from scaling Robotaxi to a massive fleet.
• Same software stack for Cybercab and customer cars (V15 the release that brings them together).
• Cumulative unsupervised miles up 8x in the quarter with weekly double-digit growth.
Tesla FSD is growing at an insane pace, and only getting better and smarter from here.

I honestly think the new @Tesla Roadster has one of the best designs in the modern supercar era.
It looks like a modern take on a Lamborghini Countach mixed with fighter jet styling. Tesla doesn’t get enough credit for this design.

The Tesla Roadster in matte black would be like a real-life Batmobile.
The design was inspired by a F-35 and SR-71.

Here’s a closer look at the Next-Gen @Tesla Roadster’s Thrust and Fan Suction system.
Both of these systems will be on the production version of the Roadster. It isn’t a concept.
• The thruster system produces >80 kN of thrust (roughly a single fighter-jet engine without afterburner).
• The Thrust configuration will do 0-60 in less than 0.9 seconds (Tesla did 0-60 in 0.81s live)
• The suction system is able to produce over 2 G of downforce at a standstill.
• 4 independent drop-down skirts seal the underbody.
• Each fan is spun past 15,000 rpm, each fan targeting about 20 kW (roughly 80 kW total for all four).
This is what happens when a rocket company joins the automotive world.
