Admiral Yi Sun-sin (이순신) failed his first attempt at the Joseon military examination (mugwa / 무과) in 1572, when he was about 28. During the cavalry/horsemanship portion of the exam, he fell from his horse and broke his leg. Tradition holds that he made a rough splint from willow branches, remounted, and finished the test (impressing the examiners with his determination), but he still failed and did not pass.

Samsung seems to have modified their algorithm for calorie calculation. Up until yesterday 10k steps would get me 500 calories no problem. Now i had to go significantly beyond and i still had to do workout at home after i finished to get the triple goal finished. But the app doesn't count the day as done if you don't so I guess I've got to push even harder #xwalk.
