New drivers need more than a license — they need a game plan. Talk to your teen to help them make smart choices behind the wheel.
Your turn signal called. It misses you. 😄
If using your turn signal is becoming more of a "sometimes" thing, it may be a good time to pay extra attention to your driving habits. The other drivers around you would appreciate the reunion.

Wipers on, headlights on. It’s the law and helps you be seen by other drivers in bad weather.
Now’s also a great time to inspect all of your vehicle’s lights to make sure they’re operating properly. #kswx
🦌 Deer have two favorite hobbies: standing in the road and appearing out of nowhere.
If you spot a deer, slow down, stay in your lane, and brake firmly if needed. Swerving to avoid a deer can create the risk of losing control of your vehicle.

Saturday, Oct. 17 is National Move Over Day, but drivers should #SlowDownMoveOver for all vehicles on the roadside with flashing lights or warning signals EVERY DAY. It's the law, and it keeps stranded motorists and roadside workers safe.

🚜 Happy National Farmers Day! We know Kansas farmers rely on our roads to keep agriculture moving. As fall harvest continues, remember to be patient and share the road with farm equipment. And if you see a farmer, thank them for feeding and fueling our communities!

Pedestrians have the right of way when lawfully crossing in a cross walk. Drivers-stop and let them cross. Walkers-stop before entering the cross walk, look left, look right and left again then cross when safe.
Blink. Yawn. Drift.
Those aren't just signs of being tired. They're signs it's time to stop driving. 😴 Pull over, recharge, and get home safely.
