Atlanta just had a jazz festival. Tons of black people, no nonsense, no drama. It’s like this at EVERY Jazz festival all the time across the country. TWO THINGS:
1) When black people get together with no NGGAS and their trap/drill music; there’s peace. Love. Togetherness. A sense of safety. ITS THE MUSIC AND THE SUBCULTURE IT BRINGS, NOT RACE.
2) Ever notice racists NEVER see this? They somehow always seem to turn a blind eye to these huuuge concerts in major cities year round where nothing happens - but somehow always finds the worst of us to share online! Funny how that works!

Look I think it's a very good movie. It's not transcendent but it's very good. Now compared to the rest of 2026's schlock it should win a bunch of Oscars. We should celebrate it as a fresh take on Vampire movie. People saying it's "From Dusk till Dawn" are lazy. I enjoyed it and have no issue with it winning a bunch of awards because it's the best of the bunch.
Plus Michael B Jordan is my dude since the Wire, he did a great job here. Also all the people getting worked up about it who are white proclaiming it's anti-white, why? I mean they actually portrayed the vampires and their Irish music in a quite enjoyable way. Only the klan folk were racist tropes but let's be honest, it was accurate.
