Just to be clear, if you ask for prayer for any reason, and I see your post, I will like it and pray for you. A like = a prayer. May God bless you.

I see a lot of people are still upset about the election. I will never advocate doing nothing or being pacifist about it. It sucks. It especially sucks if there was fraud and nothing is done about it. We don’t control that. It’s done and we have to look to the future. Many are saying to organize and I strongly support that. Not to form a guerrilla force, though it may be necessary one day, but to start networking. This is a weak point for me. I have no idea how to go about it. Hopefully I can find someone local who is good at it. In the meantime, I will try with some guys in the neighborhood and from church. Also, no better time to start getting prepared. Prepared for what? That’s easy, anything. How do you prepare for anything? By preparing for everything you wish to live through. Water and/or means to purify it. At least 90 days of food. Enough arms and ammo to protect that food. Solar power if it makes sense. Start even a small garden. You may not live off of it but it may also be able to augment what you have. Most importantly? A Bible. What do I have? A gravity filtration purifier. Those cheesy straw purifiers, and a little doodad that converts salt and a little water into chlorine to purify batches of water at a time. And a small, 11k gallon pool. If we lose water service gutters will be directed to the pool. For food we always keep a heavily stocked pantry, two fridges and a freezer, some bulk items for emergency use that we rotate, and some of the commercially available long term food buckets. Arms and ammo? I try to always keep about 2,500 rounds of 5.56 available and about 1,500 of 9mm. Less of any other calibers. I also reload ammo so we have a fluctuating amount of those around as well, but I have the ability to reload to keep us going. Solar power. We have a house system with battery backup. Enough to power the fridges and freezer during the day and intermittently at night. We also have a smaller solar generator with a couple panels for it. And we have plenty of Bibles. Keep up a good attitude. Regardless of what happens, God is the winner. Which means we win. We must hold off the evil as long as we can while earnestly trying to lead as many as possible to the Gospel. All while praying that the Holy Spirit gets through. Rejoice! Because God chose us to be alive at this very moment. So let’s learn what we need to learn. Let’s get in shape. Develop skills. And above all else pray.

For those of us who were never taught this stuff, follow this guy.
Here you go! Basic knife sharpening. There are other techniques, but this one is pretty reliable and simple. *While Benchmade branded, the sharpener is from Worksharp.

Family group chat: MIL: CFA has a free sandwich for vets on Nov 11. Wife to me: You better take advantage of that one. BIL: What do they have for the rest of us cowards? 🤣🤣🤣

One of my friends…He goes, I just can’t believe in a God that would send me to hell just because I don’t believe in Him. I said, Why is that? And he goes, Because that’s an ultimatum. Believe in Jesus or go to hell. That sounds manipulative. I said, Let me ask you something. If a building is already on fire and someone kicks the door open and says, Come out, this is the only way, is that an ultimatum, or is it a rescue? He said, What do you mean? I said, Well, you were already going to hell. I was already going to hell. That’s not God being cruel. That’s humanity choosing sin, and that’s justice. God does not send innocent people to hell. The fact is, there are no innocent people. The standard is perfection. Not better than your neighbor. Not mostly good. Perfection. I asked him, Have you ever lied? Have you ever lusted? Have you ever hated someone? Have you ever been prideful? He said, Yeah. I said, Well, then you’re guilty. I said, To be honest, I have too. We’re all guilty. And he goes, So you’re telling me it’s believe or just burn? And I said, No. It’s guilty but rescued. You weren’t standing on neutral ground and God came up and just shoved you toward the fire. You were already falling, and He caught you before you hit the ground. Jesus didn’t come to threaten you. He came to take your sentence. The Cross was not an ultimatum. It was a substitution. Justice says the wage of sin is death, but love says, I’ll pay it for you. A friend asked me, But why make belief the condition? And I said, Because love can’t be forced. Salvation is not a hostage situation. It’s a gift. If someone pays your debt, you still have to accept it. If you refuse it, the debt doesn’t disappear. God is not saying, Believe in Me or I’ll torture you. He’s saying, You’re already dying. I made a way. Take it. Hell is not proof that God is cruel. The Cross is proof that He’s not. And if you’re wrestling with that same question, it means the door is still open.

Prayers up for a child heading to surgery!
Good Morning. My 3 year old son, Bennett, is having major brain surgery this morning (a corpus callosotomy) to help treat his rare, severe form of epilepsy (LGS). If you could say a prayer for him, I’d greatly appreciate it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus…

I just got, next to finding an awesome new job after being laid off, the best news of the year. And I can’t share it until next week. It’s an answer to prayer. So happy.

This is true. And if you feel you need guidance, reach out to someone whose behavior makes it obvious. A pastor, coworker, friend or family member. Be willing to work for it. It’s worth it.
The Holy Spirit is to be a seal on your life. A label. A mark of ownership. If the Holy Spirit isn’t making you clearly identifiable as a child of God, you may want to consider whose mark you bear.

Good morning everyone! Beautiful morning here so went for a walk to start the day. Fish tank cleaning is turning into an exercise in patience. But it’ll get done at some point. Just some stubborn deposits. Plus, it’s Friday! Sabbath starts for me tonight, and I genuinely love observing a 24 hour rest. We almost always kick it off with dinner with my son-in-law’s extended family. As bonus, was under 190lbs this morning. Down 18lbs in 9 weeks and over 30lbs since March. I can feel it when I walk around. Lighter on my feet, more bounce in the step. God bless!

Prayers please.
Hey, I know a lot of people don't see my shit and Im just a reply guy, but I need some prayers for me tomorrow. They detected a mass in my esophagus. I have been having a terrible time lately keeping food down. It gets stacked up in my chest and I regurgitate it. I thought it was a Hiatal Hernia. The doctors aren't so sure. I am going in late tomorrow afternoon for a scope and a biopsy. The way they have rushed appointments and tests have me worried. Even if you don't pray, a positive thought would do a great deal. Thank you pocket fam.

Well this seems highly relevant during these times. We all need to cry out to God. Not just for ourselves and our sins, but for our country and its sins.
To whom it may concern

What a great day today will be. I am a reluctant AI adopter. In part because I think its origins are with evil intent. In part because I hate seeing people get laid off because AI is taking their job. But I can’t deny that it shines under what is, IMO, its best use case. Making an employee capable of being more productive. 5 minutes of prompting saved me probably an hours worth of very menial work. Those companies are just going to end up hiring back most of those workers anyway once AI costs and issues exceed the cost of the workers. It’s like the outsource to India craze all over again. And I hope companies come to their senses.

Well, my mandarin dragonet died some time today. He made it 5+ years. All that’s left are my 16yo clowns. Might need to add a fish or two once I’m caught up everywhere else.

Wonderful news.
3 years ago today my daughter was born and not breathing. Today she is a non-stop singing, dancing, joyful, little girl. His mercy never ends.

Today was a great day. I’ve made little secret about my health and pain issues. Started turning the corner a year ago, setback over the summer, but trending back now. Yay epidurals. Managed to get the 100gal aquarium moved to where I needed it to clean. Walked a couple miles today. Got all the Halloween decorations into the attic and organized a little better. Mulch put down for the new tree. That really isn’t much. But it’s stuff I haven’t physically been able to do in over four years because of the accident. It feels good to actually get some stuff done myself again. It’s pathetic how far I’ve fallen. At least I’m crawling back up.
