What is the best example of a Melee combeback that ISN'T marthritis or a generational 2v1 fumble? I feel like all the normal candidates fall into one of those buckets and they're IMO less interesting.

It's crazy that Fox is the best character in the modern Melee singles ruleset and that's also probably the format of the game that nerfs him the most of any realistically possible format, short of FD only shenanigans.
Honestly I was really happy for ultimate getting their delay mod but the "discourse" and controversy around it are beyond pathetic.
I know the majority aren't like this but every single person complaining about/reporting the mod is a gutless bootlicker who deserves nothing good.

I will do my customary little writeup in the coming days but just wanted to say ggs and great seeing you to everyone at Genesis. Another tournament without the results/play I'm searching for but there is at least some improvement.
I see a lot of discourse about this but the only opinion I'd REALLY be interested in is from someone who is at the lower end of the list in both games, which doesn't exist, which IMHO speaks to both how different the skillsets are and how hard it is for both games.

Lately whenever I post there's always some RT/QRTs I can't see and I love to imagine there's someone that I've never met shaking with rage and QRTing everything.
I think this is a really good illustrator of Melee vs Ultimate community and how they view/interact with the game and their priorities.
Hundreds of responses, almost all concerning roster/single player.
Ask this question for Melee, and you'd overwhelmingly get gameplay answers.
