I come from an #Iran where...
our leader was martyred,
our schoolchildren were targeted with missiles in their classrooms in #Minab,
our children were bombed with cluster missiles in a sports hall in #Lamerd,
and our scientists were martyred.
The United States and the Israeli regime attacked us, but the people of Iran stood firm in the face of these criminal attacks and continue to defend themselves. Those who themselves engage in terrorism and train and protect terrorists call others ‘terrorists.’
This is the story of a nation wronged, yet unbroken. A nation that has endured aggression, stood its ground, and defended itself with strength and dignity.

You wanted Iran dragged back to 1970s? Nobody told you Iran isn’t for arrogant amateurs? We’ll return you to 1970s rates, plus high gas prices, diesel shortages and bell-bottoms. Enjoy the nostalgia!

To the Canadian Prime Minister who, instead of condemning U.S. blatant aggression and warmongering, chose to appease Washington by reframing a threat to "annihilate" Iran as merely "speaking the language of war":
Mark Carney must understand that time is too ruthless to let the shelter of illusion & hypocrisy endure forever. A day will surely dawn when those who sought refuge in the long shadow of American bullying—believing that mimicking the language of the mighty could shield them from the claws of power—will stand bare before the truth. They will learn, too late, that averting their eyes from reality and bartering away their dignity and self-respect buys no salvation. It only strips them naked, leaving them utterly defenseless before the very force that demands their submission.
Perhaps, in that hour of reckoning, they will look upon Iran and finally comprehend. They will see that the nation they once conspired with empires to crush was the solitary guardian of a sacred flame. By standing unyielding against coercion, it kept a torch burning in the dark—a torch that, if allowed to die, would leave humanity with nothing but the cold embrace of naked force, burying the civilized and humane altars of reason beneath the brutal logic of might.
Today, as the new school year began in Iran, nothing was the same for the families of Minab’s schoolchildren. Their children’s dreams, laughter and hopes for the future were cut short by U.S. missiles.
Today, the seats of those little angels were empty in their classrooms. But their dreams will never be forgotten, and their memory will forever live on in our hearts.

The Israel lobby is getting less shy about its grip on U.S. policy toward Iran. In Miriam Adelson’s publication, the Lobby's loudspeaker says U.S. policy must ensure America pays a price for any slight against Israel.
High time for Washington to break free from these shackles.

The narrative advanced by the U.S. Secretary of War on the anniversary of 9/11 is riddled with fundamental contradictions: you cannot wage aggression, carry out cowardly assassinations, and inflict civilian casualties while simultaneously claiming exclusive authority to define terrorism and determine whose violence is legitimate.
The perpetrators of 9/11 were not Iranians; they were the very same people whom the U.S. itself had armed, organised, or otherwise cultivated in the preceding decades.
Yet the so-called “war on terror” that followed brought Afghanistan and Iraq years of war, occupation, civilian deaths, and devastation on a massive scale.
Against this backdrop, invoking the anniversary of 9/11 to justify a reckless and unlawful war against Iran is utterly absurd. A criminal war that has involved the assassination of officials of a sovereign state and the targeting of civilians, including women and children, cannot be made morally coherent simply by wrapping it in the language of counterterrorism.

We appreciate the candor of Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao. Our powerful Armed Forces did indeed “blow the hell out of the 5th Fleet HQ in Bahrain,” as well as other bases supporting U.S. aggression. The American people deserve better than footing the bill for Israel’s wars.
Despite years of sanctions and pressure, knowledge and humanity keep moving forward.

The war that the United States and the Zionist regime began by attacking the #Minab school and a sports club in #Lamerd in #Iran, continues with the slaughter of women and children at a wedding in #Sirik...
This endless brutality and aggression have reached a point where they can no longer hide their attacks on the lives and property of a people, or their violations of a nation’s independence and sovereignty, behind the masks of human rights and democracy.
And in the face of all this, silence is the only response we hear from those who claim to defend human rights...

The Qatari government has confirmed, in an official document submitted to the ITU, that Iran’s defensive strikes against American forces stationed on Qatari soil "were directed towards US military facilities. […] No civilian areas have been targeted.”
The sole exception alleged by Qatar was an attack against a gas facility on 18 March. It should be recalled, however, that the facilities struck that day were serving US military aggression against Iran.
This stands in stark contrast to the United States’ long record of deliberate attacks on civilian targets - schools, hospitals, residential neighborhoods, wedding ceremonies, bridges, and more.
There is a vast difference between a civilized nation that has learned the importance of adhering to moral and humanitarian principles even under the most distressing circumstances, and warmongering rulers who observe no rule of law or ethics in their projection of power.
A celebration of love became a funeral.
After the slaughter of #Minab students and civilians in #Lamerd, another tragedy struck last night in #Sirik, Iran: a wedding was turned into a scene of death and grief by US bombs.
The silence and inaction of the international community in the face of these crimes against humanity must end.

The United States’ declaration of new economic sanctions on Iran is far more than continued unlawful “economic warfare” against a single country. It is an assertion of extraterritorial sovereignty over every independent Member State of the United Nations.
No State may lawfully compel foreign banks, enterprises, or airports - each subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its own sovereign - to renounce lawful commerce with a third State.
Such secondary sanctions find no foundation in international law. They violate the principle of sovereign equality enshrined in Article 2(1) of the UN Charter and breach the customary prohibition on intervention affirmed by the International Court of Justice in the Nicaragua case. Economic coercion designed to force a sovereign State to alter its lawful policy choices constitutes an outright internationally wrongful act.
When combined with a naval blockade amounting to military aggression, these demands reduce the sovereignty of all other States to something provisional, conditional, and revocable at the whim of another power. Compliance purchases no immunity or respect; it merely concedes that one’s banks, enterprises, and airports operate only under a foreign licence.
The end result would be the complete erosion of sovereignty as the foundational basis of the UN-based inter-State system, and a recipe for an abysmal return to full-scale classic colonialism.
