💫Vintage VeVe Collection💫 60 Full Year Digital Timestamps There’s a reason why people are excited about $OMI and this era of true utility (thanks to @FosterHilt) .. and that reason is #VeVe These collectibles are 1sts.. 1sts in a new world of collecting, forever changing the genre for the better. They’re premium, highly collectible assets with clout (the world will know soon, too good not to). Mint hunting within these adds an extra layer of differentiation and meaning. My favorite of which, after an epiphany, is the Digital FA, Rookie Year timestamps which represent that moment, and that nostalgic feeling VeVe brings that we’ve been grateful to be a part of. This is fun.. this is collecting 😉 #minthunters @veve_official @DavidYuNZ

#76 Robin - Edition #2021 FA Damian Wayne - Biological Son of Batman This one’s a sleeper.. and a popular modern character with ongoing potential in future media. A star waiting to be born? Perhaps, but regardless.. Speculation is fun 😉 The VeVe collectible is high edition, but scarcity lies in the special mints.. This collectible has value as the First Appearance on blockchain. I like the year 😁 @veve_official #VeVe #DamianWayne #Batman

We stand on the shoulders of giant dorks 😅 and it’s a great thing
Sometimes I think we’re all just a bunch of dorks in this space. Try explaining NFTs to a normal person, why a mint number matters, why a first official appearance for Big IP matters, why provenance matters, or why some digital collectible from 2017 could actually mean something historically. Most people look at you like you’re from another planet. And lately this space has been rough. Pudgy Penguins, Blur, Candy... people losing money, trust getting tested, communities getting hurt. It gets exhausting. But then I think about all the other dorks before us. The ones collecting comics when they were considered kids’ junk. The ones collecting baseball cards before people treated them seriously. The computer nerds who believed computers would change everything, and the people who understood the internet before most of the world even knew what to do with it. Maybe we’re wrong. Maybe we’re early. Maybe it’s somewhere in between. I really don’t know. I just know I still love collecting this stuff, and somehow, after everything this space has thrown at us, a lot of you are still here too. So some love today for the collectors, the believers, the weird ones and the dorks. Hope everyone is doing okay. We’ve been through a lot. ❤️

Wonder Woman #2021 ⭐️ The most popular female super hero all-time ⭐️ Part of the holy trinity of D.C. The infamous utility-less Palm Floppy Disc aside 😅 this is the first full appearance of Wonder Woman on blockchain, and an early 2021 rookie year, perpetually undervalued, for no other reason than the pure 🔥 VeVe was putting out at the time (& to this day), this 1 pose FA is, imho, a true 1:1 One of the best parts of putting together this collection tied to the collectibles history is going back and watching VeVe content creator videos of the time.. the prestige.. the hype.. the social contagion.. you just had to be there 😁 @veve_official @My_Collectables @RealRandyChavez @itswillmai @__TheGale__ @AndrewEllis__ @TonyGetTheOmi @granisonprime @HomiesOmi @mie_janie @ChrisCoffee @VeVeViral @carltonf @VisionVeve @TapsTrades @ButtThompsonOP RIP 😢

Marceline - #1020 MM/DD - MM/YY Digital 1st Appearance Date This is a special one.. When history looks back at the beginning of digital collecting, true digital fandom collecting, there will be an important inflection point: October 2020 Because that’s when it all started for fandom collecting. I believe those early dates to be the most valuable aspect of the early collections on VeVe. And there were 2 sets dropped in October: Batman & Adventure Time One obviously is the 1st and most prestigious for a reason, but what about the other.. Adventure Time, the 1st release from Cartoon Network, is a modern cult classic. One of the most popular cartoons of this millennium outright, it has loveable characters and a surprisingly deep lore. It’s hilarious, but emotionally deep. There’s a natural, emotional attachment to these characters for its fans. Of course, Finn and Jake are the stars of the show, but there’s a reason Marceline may be the most popular and collectible of the bunch. The thousand year old vampire queen punk rocker with the voice of an angel.. she steals the show with every appearance. I believe one day the most valuable Adventure Time collectibles in existence will be on VeVe.. and putting Marceline in AR will be a total flex! @veve_official @cartoonnetwork #Marceline

Beautiful Vintage pieces! Thats what I’m talkin about right there 😁
Congrats and thank you to @Dukeyster! He made me an offer for this Up house and I accepted. This is what collectors do. Help each other out (at the right price). I picked up the following with most of the earnings. Both collectors satisfied. 💯 @veve_official

Pixar #4113 (A113) One of the most recognizable easter eggs in fandom, the CalArts 1st year graphic design animation classroom where many famous Pixar alumni started it all, nestled into every Pixar film. What’s interesting about this number on VeVe is it’s a high edition. After some digging, turns out there are only 7 Pixar collectibles to be had with that full number (4 recognized as A in leet). 7 is not a big number. That’s like.. a bond ticket 😅 One of the great ironies in Vintage VeVe collecting will be the scarcity of high edition special mints! @veve_official

VeVe’s early days on Go Chain. Some people have doubts as to whether VeVe NFT’s were in fact, minted on a digital ledger. Go Chain had no problem promoting VeVe NFT’s when they were using their minting services. It was only after VeVe moved to IMX that they had anything bad to say about them. I know we need proof, but something to think about 💭
Congrats to @ecomi_! Digital Collectibles are now available on the #VeVe app, powered by GoChain. 🥳

Check out this D&D interview from 2018.. interesting hearing the conceptual stuff and how far we’ve come, but also how much is still left to be accomplished. This has been a difficult road, but what success in life ever came easy? The entire premise of this operation was collecting using Distributed Ledger Technology, a burgeoning new tech. There’s been much debate about whether the earliest collectibles were NFT’s. There needs to be evidence that DLT was used.. that these were minted on a ledger. Was that ledger perfect? No, it wasn’t. New tech that had to be walled off to protect the IP. To me, that’s part of the story, as long as we’re able to self-custody these and show proof they were minted, albeit in a rudimentary, infant tech way, that’s enough. To me, it’s the same licensed NFT’s they’ve always been. As long as we get the proof 🤙 @ecomi_ @veve_official @drcollect

Great read right here!
There is a saying: “Always know the business that you are getting into.” This is one of the biggest reasons I believe in VeVe. David Yu isn't just a collector. He's a superfan. He understands fandom because he lives it. You can hear the excitement in his voice whenever he talks about collectibles. That kind of genuine passion is difficult to fake—and I believe it matters tremendously in this business. Think about what VeVe has done. They didn't have to build a metaverse. They didn't have to sponsor multiple annual in-person events. They didn't have to sponsor local community meetups. They didn't have to constantly give away prizes and create experiences for their collectors. But they did. Why? Because David and Dan understand that this business isn't just about selling digital collectibles. It's about community, fandom, and the emotional connection people have with the brands they love. And I believe that is one of the reasons so many major licensors have trusted VeVe with some of their most valuable IPs. They know VeVe understands that these characters aren't just intellectual properties. They're someone's childhood. They're someone's favorite comic. They're the character someone dressed up as when they were a kid. They're part of people's lives. VeVe understands that—and they have consistently tried to present these brands in a way that respects their history and makes them look incredible. That's what licensors want. They want a partner that gets it. A company that understands their brand, understands their fans, and genuinely has their best interests at heart. And let's talk about the VeVeFam. The VeVe community is one of the most passionate communities in the digital collectibles space. Why do you think so many companies have tried to attract VeVe collectors and influencers over the years? Because a passionate community has value. A strong community can make or break a company. And VeVe built its community from the ground up. They didn't have to raid another platform's community to create one. They didn't need to take shortcuts. They built it organically. Does VeVe move slowly sometimes? Absolutely. But I've always believed that many of their moves are intentional. And when they make the right move, the impact can be significant. Just look at the artists who have worked on VeVe-exclusive comic covers. Many of these artists aren't tied exclusively to one publisher. They work with Marvel, DC, Image, and other publishers depending on the project. Yet they've chosen to work with VeVe. That matters. And personally, I'm saying all of this as someone who loves both Marvel and DC. I wore Superman thermal underwear as a kid. 😂 I grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons. As I got older, Marvel became more relevant to me, especially when Infinity Gauntlet came out, and I gravitated toward Marvel. I also got into Image Comics and Valiant. I even have a Candy Digital account because of DC Comics. So when I see people hating on VeVe, I honestly find it a little strange. This isn't about VeVe versus Candy Digital. It's not about Marvel versus DC. It's about something much greater: Which company actually understands fandom? Which company respects the brands it represents? Which company understands that these aren't just characters—they are part of people's lives? For me, the answer is VeVe. I don't see another company in the digital collectibles space that understands and appreciates fandom quite like VeVe does. And David Yu's background is a huge part of that. He doesn't just talk about collecting. He owns physical collectible stores. He has warehouses full of physical collectibles. He has spent nearly three decades immersed in the collecting world. So when David talks about collectibles and you hear that excitement in his voice, I don't think you're listening to a CEO trying to sell you something. You're listening to a collector talking about something he genuinely loves. And that's exactly the kind of person I want representing the brands I collect.

⭐️ Blockchain Rookie Years ⭐️ Why I went hard on timestamp edition #’s on VeVe. It was Summer 2025. The bear market seemed everlasting and I was trying to dig deep on why these digital “invisible” collectibles are valuable to me, or collectible in any sense. I needed that validation within myself to decide if I cared, or it was just something I did to follow a crowd. David Yu and Corey were doing some podcast runs, and I happened to notice a central theme emerged.. Story, History, Provenance. VeVe’s 5 yr anniversary was coming up and seemed a good time to reflect. David specifically talked a lot about the earliest pieces, the Todd, Risso, Superman, Spider-Man, Mickey Mouse. These are collectibles with the greatest vintage story.. It hit me like a sack of bricks.. I love these collectibles because of the story! Because they are the 1st time I could collect, a hobby that I loved from childhood, in the digital world, the imagination’s playground! If you look at the reason why VeVe collectibles are inherently valuable, for most, it’s because of that FA, Rookie blockchain moment for these characters. Since it was VeVe’s 5 yr birthday, I thought.. well.. what better history is there than the beginning? In 2020. So I started hunting, as #minthunters do for collectibles released in 2020 with that 2020 edition #. Turns out there’s only 18 2020 mints to be had.. many locked in lost accounts. I was able to get 5 of them, with a a 14th of October Todd, the day and collectible where it all began. Still amazed I was able to acquire them and thankful to brilliant collectors that helped me build this. This is history.. this provenance.. this is a story. I’ve since gone on to acquire some of the most meaningful timestamp editions in the hobby. I discovered a gold mine of fandom nostalgia and meaning, and couldn’t look back. This is my story, and proud to be a part of earliest of blockchain rookie years 😉 @veve_official
