This really is a fabulous Test Match at a wonderful ground. I can't believe I'm going to say this but there has been some great banter from the Aussies here at St. George's Park. Not often you see the Aussies 99 all out. #SavAus
You've got to love the Pakistan "club" team's names, eg. Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited v Oil & Gas Development Company Limited.
Far better than anything like Super Kings v MI Ego.
I'm not exactly close up but this pitch looks like a bit of a shocker and it's been getting wetter and wetter.
We could easily lose a day and a half to rain but I wouldn't bet against a result, in Australia's favour.
Good toss to win.

Does anyone know what George Hill has done to totally piss off the England selectors? Not even in the Lions squad.
Things you don't really expect to see in a shed in Maputo, Mozambique

So play today finishes a bit later today but well over 30 minutes before close. Why did they make the 1st 2 sessions longer knowing full well that 6,5 hours play when starting at 09:30 is totally unfeasible?
Test cricket again shoots itself in the foot. Everyone knows that there is no chance of play after 17:00 in Durban. In previous years, play has started 30 mins earlier to make up lost time to light/weather. But not for this #SAvAus Test which means we're looking at 65 overs/day.

Good to see Italian BAD Manenti (not to be confused with the good Manenti) score his maiden 馃挴 in any format. 馃嚠馃嚬 @FedCricket #SheffieldShield
Isn't the point of ECB contracts to have some kind of control over those players?
Why do they keep giving a contract to a player who has zero chance of being picked up in any franchise competition & very little chance of playing any actual Test cricket unless maybe it's in Asia?
Rant incoming - 1/5 Richard Gould's comments on @sticktocricket regarding having at least one men's Test Match in The North up to 2039 have been reported by almost journalists as a good thing for Old Trafford & Headingley. Rubbish.
Let's deal with the obvious vagary first.
4/5 every 1 in 5!/(3!2!) = 10 times or 40 years. 1 of them holding a Test 6 in 10 times and both holding a Test 3 in 10 times.
I haven't found 1 journalist who has reported these numbers (I don't read everything) Is there one out there?
