How do you blow up an in-game Zeppelin and make it look realistic? As one of the climactic moments in The Division 2: Battle for Brooklyn, the Zeppelin explosion sequence needed to deliver an unforgettable finale. 💣💥 It began with a simple brief: a SAM missile hits the Zeppelin and destroys it. So, Associate Realization Director Amanda Hakim gathered the team, scouted locations, collected key assets, and established the sequence through storyboarding. ✏️ Collaboration was central to the final result, bringing together the assets, animation, FX, editing, rendering, music, sound, compositing, and grading. By involving the team throughout production and embracing their expertise, the goal was not only to strengthen the storytelling but also to create something everyone was proud to deliver. 🚀
