Rule no.1 - keep it simple
Crazy.
I met an entrepreneur recently who was a UX designer.
He ran an online discussion group with a few thousand members and noticed that many sought his feedback on their work.
He launched a UX Feedback Membership:
£49 per month.
Two 1-hour live Q&A sessions per week.
Submit your work and receive a critique.
He grew it to 235 members paying £49 per month, generating £138K per year, with a Zoom account as his main overhead.
Now, he can live and work from anywhere while putting in just a few hours per week.
We live in remarkable times.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Emtrepreneurs I need you to pay very close attention to this especially if you’re just starting out. When you’re starting that social media presence there will come a time where you try to connect with a frw people who have loads of followers or motion - you will find that some with the biggest motion are kind, responsive and receptive to you reaching out and will follow you back and act normal. Those are your people and more time will become friends the ones you can ho anove and beyond for - they are the smart ones that judge you on your value besides follower aesthetics. Its high EQ on their part.
Then there is everyone else - give grace to them but just treat them like work colleagues and match the boundaries. Eventually some will come round and try to beg it when you’ve got motion. Keep it transactional with them. The game is the game. Don’t get lost in the stew.

I tell business owners to post on social media every day.
The algorithm is built to find an audience.
Some people look at me like I’m asking them to launch a rocket every day.
It’s no different to telling a cafe owner to open their doors and put a sign out the front every day. It takes a few minutes.
Honestly if you don’t have it in you to post about your business daily, maybe consider a government job.
