Yew that’s enough PP1 time for JT Nothing wrong with PP2 at age 36.. Easton Cowan is there and Morgan Rielly. McKenna / Cowan / Rielly isn’t terrible in PP 2 though I just think McKenna needs that time for his confidence.

The tax advantage is still a real thing though. Just because the player is made whole regardless they're taking less to play in low tax states like FLA to not fuck around with RCA's where the money is locked for quite awhile. Vs clearing more every pay while working in a low tax state. That benefit of paying less real dollars to players translates to potentially being able to make a better team because more players accept less.. allowing you to have more high end talent on your roster as you have more cap space. It's still not a non issues, RCA's it's something teams, accountants, agents/players have used to help lessen that advantage No tax states have.

Cowan Matthews Mckenna would be a sick line. Too bad both Cowan and Mckenna are both LW's and more comfortable there. Both Cowan and Matthews are sick defensively. Mckenna the vision i'd venture to say that line would do very well long term. Marchenko and Nylander both RW's so because of that the top line i mentioned likely doesn't gain much traction. could have everyone on their natural wing vs 2 guys playing off wing on both lines.

$OKLO is one to watch. Earnings next week. I dont know where the bleeding stops but this is something i want to own long term. the story is very compelling if they can execute. Likely a good DCA candidate over the years.

The mock trades for Kucherov and the desire for him i understand, he's one of the top players in the league.. Has been without a doubt the best winger in hockey the last decade. With that said if moving assets it's for a Dman. Inter-divisional trades are rare but Montreal is likely the team in the Atlantic that could pull that off.. they have a lot of capital to acquire a high end player. Likely offering enough to make Tampa say yes.

That goal last night to make it 5-4 with 32 seconds left made he feel fucking sick to my stomach. Can't lose a game in the final 30 and not get at least a point.
