John Stamos and Rebecca Romijn met in 1994 at a Victoria鈥檚 Secret fashion show, where Romijn was working as a model. Their relationship quickly became one of Hollywood鈥檚 most recognizable romances. They became engaged on Christmas Eve 1997 and married on September 19, 1998, at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Stamos was 35 and Romijn was 25, and their star-studded wedding was attended by celebrities including Bob Saget, David Spade, Tyra Banks, and members of the Beach Boys.
At the time, both were entering major stages of their careers. Stamos was already famous for playing Uncle Jesse on Full House, while Romijn was a successful model beginning to transition into acting. Just two years after their wedding, she would become internationally known as Mystique in X-Men. Their marriage lasted about five years before they separated in 2004, with their divorce becoming final in March 2005.
