The ‘long march through the institutions’, as described by Rudi Dutschke, is complete.
Universities no longer merely educate Britain’s elites — they shape the assumptions, values and ideologies that govern public life.
Prof Norman Fenton’s new book The Capture of Academia is out today:
How Universities Shape Power, Silence Dissent, and Influence Society

Sadly @ProfNFenton has been suspended from X for four months and can’t tell his 92,000 followers himself.
But you can help.

If anyone can be said to have changed politics for good it was Ann Widdecombe.
She was the most significant woman in British politics since Margaret Thatcher.
Rest in Peace, Ann.

The harder the establishment comes after Nigel Farage, the more determined Reform UK becomes. 🇬🇧

It warns the UK government will force them to push legacy media outlets, like the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, over independent commentators and journalists

The future is looking bright with great young minds stepping into public service.
Thank you Archie, Dylan and Pratchet for joining us at our last branch meeting and giving your speeches!
This week The Youth Movement gave a speech in Crawley Branch. Thankyou @TimReform for hosting!
Thank you to @TimReform and Crawley Reform for having us!
We spoke out against the weaponisation of education, and the importance of young people standing up for themselves.
@ReformUKYouth is here to provide that voice🇬🇧

So by this logic there will be an early election? Nope..
The double standards are wild!

There we have it Starmer finally resigning as Prime Minister and Labour Leader! An interesting new future for Labour. Will Labour make a resurgence or will the greens fill the void?

🚨NEWS: Keir Starmer will leave office as the worst polling Prime Minister since records began
We'll have to check in on Andy's approval rating in a few months😂
Keir's honeymoon period was very short!

None of us will have voted for Burnham to be Prime Minister.
…..The only reason the people of Makerfield voted for him to be an MP was because Starmer is such a bad Prime Minister that they’d do anything to see him gone.
…And the only reason Starmer got to be Prime Minister was because the electorate were desperate to end 14 years of Tory failures.
We’re on such a grim and negative political journey. 😒
How I long for the day when we can at last vote for something positive, and not for the least terrible option!
