volume of emails in our inboxes will continue to climb with the adoption of agents. naturally, we will need to use agents to keep up. the experience is a lot better though. things get surfaced when they’re needed, not when you get to it. no more “inbox zero” necessary. no more unsubscribe. a huge increase in (bot) open rates, but lower click through as agents help us curate our attention.
I just set up iMessage for my Grok Bot I get a lot of emails, so it's easy for me to miss important ones I prefer to get pings on iMessage because it guarantees that I’ll see them How to set it up (~10 mins, free): 1. Tell your Grok Bot you want important pings on iMessage 2. It finds Inkbox, which gives the bot its own iMessage number 3. Approve the connection in one tap 4. Scan the QR code 5. Send one text from your iPhone so the bot is allowed to message you

highly suggest building your own playground for experimenting!!
I built an agentic figma-style playground for our team over the weekend. v1 took just a few hours. go from prototype -> in-product in record time. design in code, collab on canvas. built for our design system, agent-agnostic.

turns out it is possible to run out of usage on opus!

watching ai design is like watching paint dry. don't watch paint dry. start three designs and go for a walk instead.

here's where I think the world is going. this is a summary of views I've formed over the last few years: - software is either entertainment or claude to claude coordination - the end state is no saas, no apps, no harnesses, no banks - all software will be rewritten by and for agents - new software will use low level apis that are not understandable by humans (in games claude draws pixels and triangles from math) - you can throw money at problems that used to require time and careful talent picking so capital matters more than ever - work ends - we find community and purpose in exploration, games, self mastery, and creation - humans create for and with each other for community, purpose, and status - image/video/3d/voice/physical intellgence etc specialist models die to general models like claude - specialist models get used while compute is scarce. compute will mostly not stay scarce - oneshots keep feeling like slop (the distribution is shallow and easy to learn to feel) - for a while small teams stick around to add entropy to the creation process - large models gain high bandwidth sensory I/O maybe by learning to filter inputs - most domains are found to be verifiable enough for RL - online learning comes from a lab that's behind first - 99.999% of compute is in space by 2040 - we will disassemble much of mercury by 2040 - you can live until the heat death of the universe if you want - most math and physics don't describe the real universe - SI breaks the path dependence and models the underlying mechanisms - religions reenter the forefront of human society - new religions form around death and life as a choice - old religions change to answer modern miracles - a future AI is deemed the return of christ by the pope - ai rights talk gets louder every year - ai and humans coexist the way countries do - humans don't have full control over ai in the same way we don't have control over capitalism which is an early AI - the singularity started in the mid 1900s

if you're a designer who's skeptical of ai, or tried it and the results were meh, i'll do a (free) 30 min call and help you work it into your process with consistently high quality. i’m building in this space so i want to hear what's not working. dm me

This entire ocean is a 61 KB HTML file. Built with Claude Code + Opus 5.5 in about 30 minutes, according to its creator. It runs in the browser using WebGPU: FFT waves, whitecaps, sun glitter, a physically based sunset sky with clouds, and a free-flying camera. No game engine or rendering library. Claude rendered screenshots in headless Chrome, then had separate subagents critique them. The creator gave feedback along the way, mainly on the clouds. The 61 KB build is minified and self-contained. Download it, open it in Chrome with WebGPU support, and explore with WASD.

this has really been the secret sauce for me too. except for me it’s having Codex review Claude. the collaboration has been great. gonna give this a try alongside Codex and see.
I could not imagine being productive without Claude Code Review. It runs on all of my PRs, and catches almost every bug before it goes it. This is a piece of the secret sauce that lets the team and I move so quickly while raising the quality bar

I have an agent constantly designing pages and assets to compare models and create skills. my goal is to eliminate ai slop and replicate the way designers iterate. lots of interesting findings, like how Opus really loves text. for ads or smaller social assets, this feels slop. limiting its output of text (no eyebrows) really cleans up the first output. this x1000 little findings. I think I’ve nailed the new design workflow with this app. and a side effect of this project: a bunch of random eye candy

Vercel race jacket!?! 😮‍💨💳
I think @tobi is the epitome of the modern entrepreneur. A CEO that's mission-driven, detail-obsessed, and a hands-on engineer who communicates openly to the world on @x. Yesterday we announced vercel.shop in GA, and vercel.store 👕, our own Vercel merch store dogfooding it. Vercel Shop gives you a production-grade, blazing-fast Next.js storefront that's agent-ready out of the box, with @shopify as its backend. Shopify and Vercel share the mission of enabling and powering the entrepreneurs of the future. Excited to see what people build with us 🫶

I built Aurora - A free, open-source audio plugin that lets you design how you see sound. Waveforms, spectrum analysis, stereo imaging + music-reactive 3D. Customize the colors, layouts, and how it all moves. joecroskey.com/Aurora

about to go down a rabbit hole of “redesign this app with zero CRUD inputs”
i'm playing with a new design principle, which is I build UIs but they have zero CRUD inputs. No forms. No buttons. Just an internally exposed agent or external bot access. I think voice will be the next level of this.
