Just finished packing for a long bus ride to Winnebago. Went over my game day checklist. I miss this part of coaching. The Saturday meeting to exchange, and the Friday returning of films. A little part of our coaching community died with the advent of Hudl.

The longer I have coached the more I have grown to realize that this is what it is really all about. And not just in football. Family. Friends. Job. Community. It all only has meaning if there is love. Agape. This scene may be as near perfect an expression of that as there is.

One version of what winning as a coach and program looks like: A player emailed me to let me know he got a bad grade on a quiz. He then explained how he was going to fix the issues and that he was going to see the teacher.
Go Trojans!
Still waiting for a response from @LemmingReport about post that said "would not recommend Providence Catholic to any football recruit." I got no response. My question for is this - do you make it part of your business to suggest high schools for players to attend/transfer to?

Today is the Blackout, and we could not be more excited to have Cruz lead us onto the field today.
“Blacking out Friday night to turn on the lights for disability awareness, understanding, and acceptance.”
