I've watched politics for decades.
I've seen PLENTY of Republican politicians with whom I've disagreed on many issues.
Reagan, the Bushes, John McCain, Mitt Romney, and the list goes on and on.
But it wasn't until the emergence of Donald trump have I believed that a politician was an existential threat to democracy.
He's not a Republican, btw.
He is MAGA.
The difference is, MAGA is as extreme as any group we've seen.
They talk about immigrants not as human beings, but as "vermin" who need to be hunted down, and rounded up, and deported.
They don't even care if they are here legally or not. As long as they "look" as if they might be "illegal," they want them out.
We've all seen movements based on the hatred and removal of other human beings.
We often say "never again" when we talk about them.
Now is the time for all decent Americans who care about freedom & democracy to stand up and reject trump and trumpism.

I always wondered how Hitler got away with it - then I watched millions of people cheer as Trump said that immigrants were poisoning the lifeblood of the country, and I understood.
I also used to think Trump’s followers would realize they’ve been conned, but now I’m unsure.

Rights are given only by those enforcing said rights. In this world, no rights are demonstrably god-given.

Can we please all agree that this experiment of giving a weird TV host and shady real estate developer with no government knowledge, 6 bankruptcies, 42 sexual assault allegations, 7,384 lawsuits, and $5,563,000,000 in debt our nuclear secrets did not go well at all? #WeirdAF

Trump probably heard the "America's Hitler" comment and was like "ah he gets it."

Beating conservatives at the ballot box is easy, remember, Hillary Clinton destroyed Trump. You have to win in the electoral college, that thing that Trump tried to rig last election.

I'd rather watch my wife get railed 10,000 times over than betray family in Ukraine by throwing them under the bus to win an internet debate you coward, spineless fuck. Next time you moderate a debate, brush your teeth, first, so we don't have to smell Putin's load on your breath.
