ALT Black-and-copper pitch slide titled “An Agent’s Guide: Inquisitor for Hire.” Text reads: “Adult dark fantasy noir. 93,000 words. Multi-POV. Standalone.” The case description reads: “Once Rysia’s feared Grand Inquisitor, Wynsten now catches adulterers to make rent. When he is hired to find a missing ambassador before an uneasy peace collapses, the case leads him through forbidden magic, vanished daughters, and a conspiracy tied to the royal blood ritual that made him a legend, ruined his life, and fused the empire’s worst secrets to his chest.” Beside it is a historical painting of a royal procession entering an ornate city gate, overlaid with: “A missing ambassador. A disgraced legend. A kingdom rotting from within.”
ALT Black-and-copper slide titled “Opening Lines,” with a historical painting of a besieged city across the top. The excerpt reads: “The heretics had nowhere left to run. Wynsten had made sure of that. Months of blood and smoke had led him beneath the Sovereign’s castle, into the old mines carved through the bedrock. A stronghold under the heart of the kingdom. These apostates would face justice here or burn.” Below it reads: “Twenty years before he became an investigator for hire, Wynsten stopped a ritual fueled by Rysia’s own royal blood.”
ALT Black-and-copper comparison slide over a historical painting of Crusaders approaching a fortified city. Heading: “A fantasy investigation with teeth.” Subheading: “Three touchstones. One decaying empire.” Three covers appear beneath: The Justice of Kings, representing institutional rot and compromised justice; The Tainted Cup, representing a secondary-world mystery engine; and Chinatown, representing slow-burn corruption and a poisoned victory. The closing line reads: “Everyone has an angle. Power decides who pays.”
ALT Black-and-copper slide titled “Inside the Case,” subtitled: “A dark-fantasy noir for readers who want the mystery and the damage.” Story elements listed are: a post-conquest secondary world inspired by the Crusader states; fallen hero and disgraced legend; corruption at the highest level; missing ambassador; reluctant found family; forbidden magic; power no one understands; secrets beneath the city; and morally gray choices. Beside the list is a historical painting of mounted Crusaders entering a conquered city. The closing tagline reads: “He saved the kingdom once. Maybe he shouldn’t have.”
