You should also discuss the overwhelming evidence students in virtual schools learn much less than their peers. Families need all information when making important choices: tinyurl.com/qtxdryu, tinyurl.com/ydhnqon2, tinyurl.com/yahl2szx, tinyurl.com/y8lja74r

Replying to @berendma
@berendma and I are thrilled to finally have our work on the impacts of the Indiana school voucher program on student achievement published in @JPAM_DC. 1/3 doi.org/10.1002/pam.22086

Summary: Low-income kids using vouchers to move from public to private schools in the upper elementary and middle school grades experienced a persistent loss in math achievement and null impacts in ELA. The findings are consistent over time and across most student subgroups. 2/3
Compared to the preliminary findings released last year, the results are similar, but with a cleaner methodological approach and more precise estimates. There's still so much more to unpack regarding the impacts of this program and we are eager to keep moving forward! 3/3
