My girlfriend came up with the idea of opening a joint bank account, claiming that it would help us build a better future together. She told me that since we were planning to get married someday, we needed to start saving money as a couple.
I trusted her completely because I genuinely believed she was the woman I would spend the rest of my life with. I agreed to the idea, and we opened the account together.
I started investing heavily into the account. Every month, I deposited a significant amount of money from my salary and other investments. Whenever she needed money for the account, I contributed without hesitation. I sacrificed so many things because I wanted us to have enough savings to build our dream home and prepare for our wedding.
Whenever I asked her about our savings, she would smile and tell me that everything was going according to plan. Sometimes, she even talked about the beautiful wedding we would have and the kind of family we would raise together.
Unfortunately, I never knew that she had a completely different plan.
One morning, I tried checking our joint account, only to discover that a huge amount of money had disappeared. I immediately called her, but she refused to answer my calls.
After several attempts, I finally managed to reach her. What she told me left me completely shocked.
She confessed that she had withdrawn the money and used it to prepare for her marriage to her ex-boyfriend. Yes, the same man she had always told me was part of her past!
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. While I was busy saving money for our future, she was secretly preparing to marry another man with the money I had worked so hard to contribute.
A few days later, I discovered that she had officially married her ex. She didn't even have the courage to tell me face-to-face.
I lost not only my savings but also the future I thought we were building together.
What hurts me most is that she deliberately introduced the idea of a joint account, knowing exactly what she wanted to do with the money.
If you were in my position, would you fight to recover your money, or would you simply walk away and never look back?

I was married for seven years, and for most of those years, my wife and I were happy. We weren’t rich, but we had enough to pay our bills, take care of our two children and enjoy life together.
Everything changed when I suddenly lost my job.
At first, my wife was supportive. She told me not to worry and promised that we would overcome the situation together.
But as the months passed, things started changing.
One evening, I returned home after attending another unsuccessful job interview.
Wife: “So, how did it go today?”
Me: “They said they’ll get back to me.”
Wife: “That’s what you’ve been saying for the past four months. Collins, we have bills to pay. The children need new school uniforms, and our landlord has been calling.”
Me: “I know, sweetheart. I’m doing everything I can.”
Wife: “Doing everything you can isn’t putting food on this table!”
I kept quiet.
A few minutes later, she brought out her phone and showed me a message from our landlord.
Wife: “Look at this. He’s threatening to lock us out. Do you know how embarrassing this is?”
Me: “I’ll find a way to settle him.”
Wife: “With what money?”
I had no answer.
The following weeks became even worse. She started comparing me to her friends’ husbands.
One Saturday morning, while I was trying to fix our broken television, she walked into the sitting room.
Wife: “My friend’s husband just bought her a new car.”
Me: “That’s good for them.”
Wife: “You don’t even feel embarrassed hearing things like this?”
Me: “What exactly do you want me to do? Should I steal money?”
Wife: “I’m tired of your attitude. Maybe I married the wrong person.”
Those words hurt more than losing my job.
A few days later, I discovered that she had been secretly receiving money from a male colleague.
When I confronted her, she didn’t even deny it.
Me: “Who is this man sending you money?”
Wife: “He’s just a friend from work.”
Me: “Why didn’t you tell me?”
Wife: “Because I knew you’d start asking unnecessary questions. At least he helps me when I need something.”
Me: “So you are comfortable collecting money from another man while disrespecting your husband?”
Wife: “At least he’s financially responsible!”
That night, I couldn’t sleep.
I remembered how we started together, how she used to encourage me when I had nothing, and how we promised never to abandon each other.
The next morning, she packed some clothes and told me she was going to stay with her sister.
Before leaving, she said something I’ll never forget.
Wife: “I’m not going to waste my life waiting for a man who cannot provide. Call me when you become financially stable.”
I watched her leave with our children.
I didn’t beg her.
But what she didn’t know was that I had received a phone call the previous evening about a business opportunity that could completely change my life.

LOKI.
Loki is one of Marvel's most loved characters, played by Tom Hiddleston. He is the god of mischief from Asgard and the adopted brother of Thor. Loki learns he was born a Frost Giant and was taken by Odin as a baby, and that discovery breaks his sense of who he is.
In Thor, he schemes to take the throne. In The Avengers, he leads an alien army against Earth and is beaten by the team. In Thor: Ragnarok, he fights beside his brother to save Asgard. In Infinity War, he tries to protect Thor from Thanos and is killed in front of him.
His story does not end there. In his own series, a version of Loki escapes with the Tesseract and is caught by the Time Variance Authority.
He learns his own future, falls in love, and finally makes a choice that changes him.

Anthropic is making billions from AI, but its IPO filing reveals a financial picture that deserves a closer look.
The company reported $16.3 billion in revenue during the first half of 2026, alongside an $80.7 billion net loss. Much of that loss came from a non-cash accounting charge, not ordinary operating expenses.
But here’s the bigger question: can even the fastest-growing AI companies turn massive demand into sustainable profits?
The AI race is no longer just about who builds the smartest model. It’s about who can afford to keep building.

Sony really understood the assignment with Venom Horse, and I'll die on this hill, this is what superhero movies should be about sometimes.
People complain about superhero fatigue, then complain when a movie actually tries something ridiculous and entertaining. Not every superhero film needs to be a serious, emotional masterpiece.
Venom riding a symbiote horse is ridiculous, unnecessary and absolutely iconic.

WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED TO KING’S LANDING?
This was supposed to be the greatest city in Westeros, the seat of the Iron Throne, and the heart of the Seven Kingdoms.
But by the end of Season 8, it looked like someone had transported the entire city to Arrakis from Dune.
The streets were buried in ash, the sky was covered in smoke, and King’s Landing was barely recognizable.
Daenerys didn’t just destroy a city; she turned the capital of the Seven Kingdoms into a wasteland.
HOW DID WE GO FROM THE BEAUTIFUL KING’S LANDING TO THIS?
