Ollie Engen has committed to Albany, source told SI.
Dwayne Killings tapping into the Canadian college pipeline that has produced some big-time mid-major players like Dezayne Mingo (Marshall) and Adam Olsen (South Alabama) of late.
NEWS: 6'4 PG Ollie Engen (@OllieEngen), a USports All-Canadian this season & arguably the BEST PLAYER in the Canadian USports league, is exploring NCAA D1 opportunities and is receiving heavy interest. The sophomore had a great year for a very good Queens team this season, averaging:
• 20.6 PPG
• 4.4 RPG
• 4.6 APG
• 50.7% FG
Engen has impressive quickness & change of pace for a big guard, and is a great finisher around the rim + in mid range areas with ELITE touch & feel as both a scorer and a passer. Projects to be an immediate impact player at the D1 level.
