Ducks know something about prayer - bowing their heads, plunging into the mystery that feeds them and holds them buoyant. Receiving bread from the hands of strangers. Traveling in pairs.

wake up in the morning feeling like i'm JC grab my shroud I'm out the cave I'm gonna hit the city Before I leave, grab my gang for breakfast so we can unpack (the lore) 'cause when I ascend to heaven I ain't coming back (not for 2000 years more)
We should definitely commemorate the Last Supper still but I think there’s also an argument for liturgical observance of the First Breakfast

We celebrate this breakfast every time we sit with the stranger or least to eat without daring to question the presence of Christ at the table with us

Another observation from this election season: my anger, often expressed as annoyance or frustration, does more to protect me from the grief I feel for the world than it does to heal the world. Righteous anger is my self important fiction

Simple prayers that God might hear the needy and that I might love my neighbor more have done much for my soul this election season

Any time I’ve tried or offered to do any of these things while staying at a host’s home, they either adamantly refuse or do it with me - and I do the same for my guests. That’s basic hospitality
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?

Christians who blaze into conversations hurling slurs should heed the words of Christ in Matt 5:22

Republicans want you to renounce Christ, hold to the faith!
If you call yourself a Christian and find yourself voting for democrats, you should stop calling yourself a Christian.

There’s a new backlash forming: parents mad at Republicans for exposing their kids to the concept of transitioning through constant advertising

crazy how much of the gop strategy for this election is just "bearing false witness" to as severe a degree as possible

The strange evangelical obsession with eyewitness accounts and need to produce forensic evidence for every jot and tittle generates atheistic arguments that make no sense to me
If you’re a Christian, the moment you realize neither the gospels nor Paul’s writings are actual eye witness accounts, Christianity should come crashing down for you

weren't people championing Grok as the bastion of the Christian faith like a week ago or something like that
Replying to @GuntherEagleman
There is no afterlife, no cosmic justice, and no inherent purpose. Consciousness ends at death in an indifferent universe that will outlast every human concern.

Yes. Based on the biblical record and historical evidence for the empty tomb and post-resurrection appearances, I affirm that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead.

It's not so much that I'm chronically online it's moreso that I'm able to churn out thoughts with such incredible speed that my employers have called me a "human AI" for the last 4 years at least.
