This is the reality of occupation: the UN has documented forced transfers of Ukrainian children, restrictions on fundamental freedoms, and discriminatory policies in Russian-occupied territories. Peace should never mean rewarding an invasion or abandoning people living under occupation. Ukraine deserves a future where its sovereignty, identity, and people are protected.

If Ukraine falls our shield is no more. Russia is at our doorstep with Putin having a million experienced soldiers more to send against the Baltic states and the unprepared EU. And by now it's clear that United States will not come to our aid.
