Posting some of my athletics goals here. Some are a bit of a stretch. A year from today I will let you know how I did.
- Sub 20:00 100-mile (12:00/mile; 7:27/km)
- Sub 11:00 100k (6:36/km)
- Sub 8:00 80k (6:00/km)
- Sub 3:30 marathon (8:00/mile; 4:59/km)
- Sub 20:00 5k (4:00/km)
- Sub 5:42.66 mile
- 25 pull ups (real ones not kip/CrossFit ones)
Starting to think a bit more about my upcoming Africa tour.
I will spend perhaps a few weeks in Iten, Kenya... It's where the Big Boys train.
Should be fun. Little known fact is that Kenyan distance running is the product of an Irish religious brother, there now about 50 years.
Starting to plan a few more ultra endurance events. Need to put together the footage from the Salt 123km still too...
If you haven't watched my "origin story" documentary, where I ran 100 miles from Rome to Assisi, check it out, and sign up for my company mailing list to stay informed.

Mountain is spitting straight FIRE 🔥
Everyone wants simple narratives that make them feel special. The fact is that Rome has a lot going on, people are people, and the most boring explanation tends to be the correct one in such matters (aka "Eamonn's Law")
My “speculation” was what their website still said until this morning before they updated it. My “speculation” was also based on all the journalists who initially said the Mass was changed last-minute. I go on to explain that the planning for the Jubilee of Saint Francis began in 2021, I posted the timeline as well. Other journalists had access to that info, but didn’t want to share that. I explained how they could have entered the basilica today, and many did, just not as a procession. And I mentioned that SMM never allows private Masses to extend beyond one hour, even for Cardinals. Then I further explained the process to get permission for professional photographers. But everyone else just wants to say “banned” and “denied” because it’s more exciting.

I wrote an article about the scandal of a woman-priest-promoter being promoted to a high-ranking Vatican position, and the basis on which we defend the traditional doctrine of the male-only priesthood. Link below
Last night I was having a dream I was at some conference at a hotel, and at breakfast (?) @JLLiedl pulled me aside and told me in a quiet and serious voice, "Not everyone likes your approach."
I will try to do better to live up to the standards that the mysterious dream people have for me, for whatever it is that I am approaching in the first place. I will trust y'all to keep me accountable.
Thanks
Accidentally chilling with Patriarch Bartholomew and Cardinal Parolin.
I'm in a hoodie.
Still not as bad as when I was on the Secretary of State hall in the Apostolic Palace... in a different hoodie, also not arranged.

@CatholicFndrs has a community (the CF Guild) of over 260 Catholics who are building businesses and realize that biz is about a lot more than making money, it's about being a Co-creator with God.
If you want to join, it's $100 a year.
Shortly we'll be launching curated mastermind groups. In addition to our regular guild meetings and group chat (the mastermind pairing has a slightly higher cost)

I'm happy that John Kloess (Catechesis Vids) has just signed the PAACCT - good to have some YouTubers on board.
