Keep saying he lost but he’s still the most streamed rapper and his fanbase is still stable so what did he lose exactly?

I appreciate your platform and I respect your right to your opinions. But I think you’re seeing fans respond this way because of the amount of Drake haters in hip hop media + the notion that you have to choose a side & stay there. The “rational middle” is kinda gone at the moment

Drake Stans mix loyalty with glazing and Yes-Manism! I've been doing my pod going on 10 years spotlighting Toronto rappers but I'm disloyal when I have an unfavorable Drake take?? So loyalty means lying now, ok!

And just for the sake of it: IF Drake signs again with UMG it doesn’t negate anything about this recent era A key piece of all this is UMG trying to devalue him. If they come with the number he wants in the structure he wants why should he turn it down?

This says it was posted 14 hours ago but I’m still seeing people this morning huffing and puffing about speculation 😂 a lot of think pieces minus the thinking

Akademiks clarifies that, there’s no announcement that, Drake is signing a new deal; this was just him explaining that drake’s deal is up. According to akademiks, he doesn’t know what Drake is gonna do next; but if Drake happens to sign any new deal; it would be the biggest deal in history.

Drake & UMG are the only people who can give us insight on whether they will keep working together

Amazing fanfiction but no, expecting the label to stay neutral (esp in a rap battle featuring a song calling you a child molester) is not preferential treatment 😂
