Are You Enduring, or Are You Preparing? In everyday life, there are times when my wife asks me to go grocery shopping, take out the food waste, or sort the recycling. Some people might see these as annoying chores, but I choose to look at them differently. If it’s something I have to do anyway, why not see it as an opportunity to get some exercise by walking up and down the stairs? The action is exactly the same, but the way we define it can completely change our mindset. I apply this same philosophy to #Earth2 In the investment world, people often say, “Just hold on.” But I’ve never really liked that expression. To me, “holding on” implies that you’re struggling through something painful, forcing yourself to endure until things get better. Instead, I prefer to say, “I’m preparing.” Someone who is simply enduring waits for time to pass. Someone who is preparing thinks about what they can do with that time. Even when two people spend the same amount of time waiting, their mindset and the direction of their actions can be completely different. Of course, changing a single word doesn’t change reality. But changing how we perceive reality can change the decisions we make within it. This is how I approach life. I redefine situations in my own way. ⸻ So, What Does It Take to Survive in Earth2 Until the Very End? I believe three things are essential. 1. The Intelligence to Understand Earth2’s Systems and Ecosystem Rather than simply watching prices rise and fall, we need the ability to understand where Earth2 is heading, how its systems connect, and how its economy is developing. 2. The Character to Take Responsibility Instead of Blaming Others It’s perfectly reasonable to criticize Earth2 for its shortcomings. But there is a difference between criticism and shifting responsibility. We all made our own decisions to participate in Earth2. If every good outcome is credited to your own judgment, but every bad outcome is blamed on Earth2, what can you really learn from the experience? Instead of spending our time blaming others, we need the maturity to reflect on our own decisions. 3. The Financial Stability to Stay the Course No matter how intelligent or mentally prepared you are, if you’ve overextended yourself financially, it becomes difficult to stay committed for the long term. To survive in the long run, financial stability matters more than the size of your investment. ⸻ I believe that if even one of these three qualities is missing, reaching your desired destination becomes much more difficult. Of course, simply surviving longer doesn’t guarantee success. Sometimes, we must also recognize when our judgment was wrong and have the courage to change direction. To me, preparing doesn’t mean waiting blindly. It means continuously learning, evaluating, and positioning yourself for the changes ahead. I don’t want to be someone who is simply enduring Earth2. I want to be someone who is ready to seize the opportunity when it arrives. So, let me ask you: Are you just holding on in Earth2? Or are you preparing for what’s ahead? @earth2io

Currently, the #Earth2 Launcher is available to players who own 10,000 tiles or more. If you’re an early Earth2 player, I imagine many of you already own more than 10,000 tiles, right? Some of you may not have downloaded the Launcher yet. But if you have downloaded it and actually played it, and have never submitted a single bug report, I think it’s worth putting your hand on your heart and asking yourself why. There’s almost no way you could have played at this stage without encountering a bug. Do you think “investing” in Earth2 makes sense, but “loving” Earth2 is taking it too far? Right now, it might just be a small thought: “Someone else will submit the bug report.” But later, that same mindset can easily become: “Someone else will make the game fun.” “Someone else will help it improve.” “Someone else will keep the community active.” And the moment everyone starts thinking that way, the development of the Earth2 we’ve all been waiting for will inevitably slow down. Being an early player doesn’t only give us the privilege of experiencing things before everyone else. It also gives us the role and responsibility of finding problems early, sharing our feedback, and taking part in making Earth2 better. We are not simply people waiting for a finished Earth2 to arrive. We are the early players helping to build #Earth2 as it becomes what we have all been waiting for. @earth2io

I used to think that it would always be a good thing for #Earth2 to become known and spread to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. But after thinking about it more carefully, I’ve come to believe that what really matters is not simply how many people Earth2 reaches, but what kind of people it reaches. For example, there is a well-known project that managed to attract a massive number of users. However, I believe many of them were more interested in earning tokens and cashing them out than in the project’s long-term value or ecosystem itself. If this type of participant makes up the majority of an ecosystem, then no matter how large the user base becomes, once the token enters the market, it can ultimately result in continuous selling pressure. The same could apply to Earth2. If Earth2 becomes known purely from a P2E perspective , simply as “a game where you can play and earn Essence tokens“ there is a possibility that a large number of users will join with the primary goal of accumulating Essence and selling it on the market every day. The number of users may grow rapidly, but that does not necessarily mean the value of the ecosystem will grow with it. Instead, even if the overall user base is smaller, I believe healthier growth could come from people who understand the world and economic system Earth2 is trying to build , people who want to own land, build, trade, create businesses, and remain active within the ecosystem for the long term. From that perspective, the fact that properly playing Earth2 requires a reasonably capable PC and graphics card may not necessarily be a disadvantage. Compared with something like mobile, where the barrier to entry is extremely low and huge numbers of people can easily participate purely for short-term rewards, having a certain level of entry barrier could actually serve as a natural filter ,attracting people who are genuinely interested in the project and willing to actively participate in it. In the end, I believe the type of users matters more than the number of users. An ecosystem with 10,000 people who consume, trade, build businesses, accumulate assets, and remain active within the world for the long term could ultimately be far stronger than one with 100,000 short-term miners. That is why I now think that, rather than Earth2 spreading everywhere as quickly as possible, it may be more important for it to first spread deeply among people who truly understand the vision and values Earth2 is pursuing. And perhaps, in the long run, that may be better not only for me, but for all of us. @earth2io

There’s a $XRP event happening at the Grand Hyatt Seoul today, and it’s pretty impressive. Even though XRP’s price isn’t particularly high right now, it feels like every XRP holder in Korea has gathered here in Seoul. I have to applaud their incredible unity and sense of community.
