To our Black immigrant family: These FBA cowards don't represent us. They slither around on social media, where they spew their hate anonymously and with zero consequences. As for our young brother, Javits Frimpong, senselessly murdered in Bronx, New York, we send condolences, love, and support. America is a violent nation brutally established by genocidal Europeans. Just like Nima in Ghana or Cape Town in South Africa, poverty and dysfunctional institutions were engineered by our white oppressors. This is a breeding ground for ignorance, hate, and violence. And even in those spaces, most of us are hardworking and generous and hopeful. We reject hate and xenophobia. To our Pan-African family, stay the course. Do what you can, when you can, wherever you are to unite our people. As I often say, uniting African people is hard work. It's not for the weak. There are formidable forces aligned against us.
