Every runner has a reason for showing up to the starting line. For Cathy, it’s her mum.
In August, Cathy’s family received news that changed their lives. Her mum was diagnosed with cancer, and the journey since then has been challenging. By the time they discovered the illness, it had already reached Stage 4. Through @Hospicejinja256, the family has been connected to care and support as they navigate this difficult journey, holding on to faith and hope.
This Saturday, Cathy will be taking part in the Nile Cancer Run with her mum in her heart. Her story reminds us that behind every step is a person, a family, and a reason to keep going. For Cathy, it’s personal. For many others, it is too. ❤️
