Vegas is where good deli goes to die. Stage, Carnegie, Canter’s have all flamed out here (some more than once). What’s left are either straight from Sysco, or a corporate, Disney-fied facsimile of the real thing (we’re talking to you, Bagelmania). LESTER’S from Montreal has been packed from the jump because it has the feel of authenticity and the taste of the real thing. It is a sandwich worth driving 15 miles for.
