Today some of our members visited classes to teach a lesson about plastic pollution. It was great fun and we hope people learned lots. We will be visiting all the classes throughout our #ecoweek. @primaryandrew

We met recently to discuss and plan the Eco Week coming up after the Easter holiday. We have decided to focus on plastic pollution after our P5 members spoke about what they had learned about this issue earlier in the school year. @primaryandrew

If anyone still has something to finish off, we will try to help them get this completed soon. It was a great team effort. Well done and thank you to all the children for coming along. @primaryandrew

Do you want the teachers to look a bit festive (and silly) on Friday? Then buy a raffle ticket for Christmas Jumper Day. If we raise lots of money we can make the teachers dress up as elves! The tickets are £1 for a strip of 5 or 20p a ticket. @primaryandrew

We all worked hard together and enjoyed being out in the lovely fresh air. We don’t like it when litter spoils our community.

Heatwaves & wildfires might be natural, but #ClimateChange makes things so much worse. Warmer, drier conditions increase the risk from fires like those in Greece, making them more frequent & more intense, with terrible consequences for people & wildlife. bbc.co.uk/news/science-envir…
