We’re proud to help spread the word about this important conversation!
As a grant recipient and collaborator of NEXT for AUTISM, The Ed Asner Family Center is incredibly grateful for their continued investment in programs that create meaningful opportunities for neurodivergent individuals.
On Thursday, October 15 at UCLA, NEXT for AUTISM and the Anita Bhatia Foundation for Tomorrow will present “The Manager Effect: What’s Needed to Build and Sustain Neuroinclusive Workplaces that Benefit All Employees.”
This is such an important conversation. Creating employment opportunities is only part of the equation, building workplaces where neurodivergent employees are understood, supported, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive is just as critical.
We’re also thrilled to see our friend Spencer Harte among the panelists!
The event is FREE to attend, but registration is required. We encourage our TEAFC families, community partners, employers, and anyone interested in neuroinclusive employment to join the conversation.
Thursday, October 15 | 10 AM–1 PM

What a night.
The 14th Annual Ed Asner & Friends Celebrity Poker Night is officially in the books, and we could not be more grateful.
From the moment the doors opened at Radford Studio Center, the room was filled with friends, laughter, generosity, and an incredible sense of community. Together, we raised critical funds that will directly support the programs of The Ed Asner Family Center, helping us continue to provide mental health services, arts and enrichment programs, social opportunities, and meaningful pathways to employment for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
A huge thank you to our wonderful honoree Ron Funches, our celebrity guests, sponsors, donors, volunteers, staff, poker players, and everyone who rebought, bid, donated, and helped make the evening such a success.
There was also something especially meaningful about being back at Radford, a place that was such an important part of my dad’s life and our family’s history, and filling it once again with friends coming together for a cause he would have been incredibly proud of.
Fourteen poker nights later, the reason we do this has only become more important.
Thank you for betting big on our families, believing in our mission, and helping us continue the work.
See you at the tables next year. ❤️♠️♥️♣️♦️

Week 3: Wilderness
Explorers!
This week our campers traded the classroom for the great outdoors and became true explorers! Armed with binoculars, maps, and curious minds, we slowed down, looked closely, and practiced the art of mindful observation. From spotting birds and blooming flowers to discovering tiny details we might normally walk right past, every adventure reminded us that nature has something to teach us when we take the time to notice.
We also became plant scientists during Propagation 101, learning how one little pothos cutting can grow into an entirely new plant. Watching new roots begin is a pretty amazing reminder that growth starts small.
Between hiking, exploring, singing around camp, teamwork challenges, and making memories together, this week was full of curiosity, laughter, and adventure.
Here's to seeing the world with fresh eyes and remembering that the greatest discoveries often happen when we simply slow down and explore. #CampEd2026 #WildernessExplorers #AdventureAwaits
