Last night, the referees kept telling my OL to stop being so aggressive and excessive with their blocks. I work hard to establish a standard with my guys: Finish every single play! I’m not telling my guys to ease up. We’re going to play physical, finish blocks, and compete through the whistle!! If the defensive guys don’t like it, they can work to get off the blocks. That’s football.

#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.

How committed is Jalen Hurts to football? After initially being diagnosed with a superficial blood clot in London, doctors told him not to sleep as a precaution, so he had been awake for roughly 36 hours when he started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to be sidelined for multiple months after new imaging over the weekend found several blood clots in his lungs. Hurts is now on blood thinners and should have no long-term effects. But it’s unlikely he plays again this season.
